Chapt. 7 - Josiah

Yo my room is dope ! My sister did her thing in there, I love it. I just wish my dad was here to see that I'm good, my sister got me. He dont have to worry.

I was chilling on the couch watching TV when Zoe came in the house. "What's up Josiah?" I sat up and we dapped each other. "Nun just chilling." She sat beside me. "Listen and listen closely. Its gone be some rules. No cussing, no fighting in school, no suspensions, we better not even get a phone call." I looked at Zoe like she was crazy. "If I tell you to do something then do it. If its mine don't touch it. You in my house, you gone follow my rules. Understand?" I shook my head. "Last time I check my sister live here to so its not your house, its y'all house and we know each other but we don't know each other. You coming at me like you my mama and that's not cool. When you come at me different or you and my sister come at me together then cool but until then I don't understand." I walked off before my face turned red. Last thing I want to do is have beef with my sister girlfriend but she not gone come at me like that. I'll listen to my sister before I listen to her. She already make it a lil clear that she not 100% cool with me being here. But my sister got me so she better get over it quick.

"You good lil bro?" Jas knocked on my door as she walked in. I nodded my head as she closed it and put my PSP down. "Yo girlfriend came at me wrong with some rules earlier. Like she my mama or something, I'm not cool with that. I told her until she can come at me better or both of y'all come at me together I won't understand em." Jas looked at me twisted. "I just talk to her and she didn't bring it up." I shook my head. "Of course she not, I don't think she cool with me being here. She said this her house, I had to correct her on that to and let her know this y'all house." I watched Jas lay across my bed. "Don't worry about it, I'll handle her and I'll be the one to set your rules. You got chores to, I don't give out free money." I nodded my head and smiled. "I'm cool with that... Sis?" She looked at me. "Uhmm, I know I'm only 15 and don't have friends yet but you think I could get a cellphone?" She looked as if she was thinking. "You save up to get it you can have one. We'll talk about it." I nodded as I felt my heart jump of joy. "Goodnight bro, I got to work in the morning." She kissed my forehead and shut the door as she walked out. I'll do all the chores in the world for money. Like my dad use to say, "Nothing in this world is free son. You want it? Work for it."
