Chapt. 10 - Jas

When I got to the hospital with Zoe, Des was sitting in the waiting room with Amiya. "What happen? What the fuck happen?" Zoe ran up on Des like she wanted that action, she got us fucked up. "You need to sit yo ass down and calm down, don't be running up on her like that. You didn't even check on ya niece." I pointed to a chair and Zoe sat down letting Amiya crawl in her lap. "You okay niecey?" Amiya nodded her head yeah.

"You good boo?" Des leg wouldn't stop shaking as tears ran down her face. "Tell me what happen." I sat beside Des and hugged her. "We were eating, AJ and Amiya spent the night, there was a knock at the door. AJ opened it there was Champ standing there. She kept trying to come in and look around but AJ wouldn't move. When she saw me she started talking shit and being disrespectful, when she called me a bitch sis, AJ snapped, drug her in the house and rocked her so bad. I took Amiya in the room. Champ couldn't move so AJ got up to go check on Amiya when I turned around and saw Champ with a gun pointed. I hollered for AJ to move the gun went off twice. Hit AJ in her shoulder and back. Police rushed in, Champ confessed to a murder then killed herself." I shook my head as I wrapped my arms around Des. Zoe face was red and tears were steady falling. I need someone to come get Amiya. She really don't need to be here.

"Family of Amanda." A female doctor came out covered in a surgeon outfit. "We're her family, this her girlfriend." I pointed at Des. The nurse smiled. "She's going to be fine. She's very blessed that it didn't paralyze her. She'll be here in the hospital until I see that she's doing okay enough to go home. After that she will need a lot of help moving around and doing things. One wrong move and she could end up back in here. She's in recovery right now but as soon as we get her in a room and her pain under control you'll be able to visit." We all nodded as I shook the lady hand. "Thank you doctor." She smiled and walked off.

I watched as Zoe buried her face in her hands. I rubbed her back as I listen to her talk to herself. "Something always happening to my sis man, its always my fucking sis yo. This some bullshit." "Calm down baby, she okay." I grabbed Zoe face and kissed her. "I'm going outside to check on Josiah and Zakai. I'll be back." I got up and walked out. Lord I know I don't talk to you often but right now we need you, send your spirit.
