Chapt. 16 - Des

"Do you ever miss her?" I looked up at Jas hoping she wouldn't ask the question. "Yeah sometimes, I just miss her company. The only time she got crazy was if someone brought up AJ name. Any other time she was cool people." Jas looked at me crazy. "So even though she would've killed you or at least hurt you, you miss her?" I nodded my head.

Everybody know the crazy Champ. I knew the loving and caring Champ. She was sweet until she thought I was messing with AJ again. Nobody will understand cause nobody knew her like I did.

I walked out of work to see Josiah at my car. "What's up knuckle head?" I unlocked the doors and we got in. "Do I suppose to call you my aunt or my sister?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Whatever you want to call me." He nodded. "Im cool with sis cause AJ bro and Amiya my niece." I turned the car off and looked at Josiah. "What's up, what is it?" He looked out the window. "Its this girl, her name Lina. She so fine sis but every time I get the chance to talk to her I get nervous." I shook my head. "What you getting nervous for? Shes just a girl. Don't fuck it up getting nervous bro. Just make small talk right now." He nodded. "I want to ask her for her number." I giggled. "One step at a time, get comfortable talking to her first then dive in for the digits." I pulled out and headed to take him home. I can't believe my pretty boy is scared to talk to a girl. We got to work on that.

"Des in the muthafuckin hoouusssee!!" We walked in the door to see Jas in the kitchen whipping it up. "Hush fool, Zakai sleep." I covered my mouth and tiptoed. "My bad bitch, what you cooking?" Zoe walked in the house smacking Josiah on his head. "Quit hitting me, not gone tell you again." Jas looked at Zoe with attitude. "Why you always got to fuck with him?" She shrugged her shoulders. "Why he not doing homework?" Before Jas could say anything Josiah walked in the kitchen. "Cause I don't got none. You not my mama, you not my daddy and you not gone keep putting yo hands on me. I ain't no wuss, I'll set shit off." Jas stepped between them as I leaned back in my chair and crossed my legs to watch the action. "Watch your mouth, go to your room." Quietly he turned around without taking his eyes off Zoe then disappeared to go to his room. "That's it? Watch your mouth, go to your room?" I rolled my eyes. This bitch always playing victim. "You always fuckin with him and I've told you stop so many times. Leave him the fuck ALONE." Zoe sucked her teeth before grabbing her keys and leaving. A picture fell off the wall when she slammed the door. "Girl how do you deal?" She looked at me. "I don't even know. But if she think I'm gone be on her side before his she wrong. Ill cut her off before I turn on my brother." I shook my head. "I love you boo, I know AJ at home bout to have a fit." She laughed. "Get that ass home before you get a whooping." We both laughed. "Girl I need one, maybe I should take my precious time." Jas shook her head. "Bye fool, go get your wife." I went and told Josiah bye, kissed Zakai then left. I don't have time for they drama. My baby waiting on me.
