Yoongi’s POV:
I don’t know what’s wrong with Jimin. For the past two days, he’s been avoiding me like I don’t exist. It’s been two long, agonizing days since I last spoke to him, and the silence is eating me alive.
It hurts more than I want to admit. Watching him laugh and smile with everyone else while completely ignoring me feels like a punch to the gut every single time. Every time I try to approach him, he finds a way to slip away, leaving me standing there with a thousand unanswered questions.
Today, I found myself sitting in the front row of the class, a place I never thought I’d willingly choose, because Jimin doesn’t sit with me anymore. He comes to class late, slipping in just seconds before the professor arrives, making it impossible for me to corner him or demand answers.
I can’t shake the feeling that this all started two days ago when Lia decided to sit with us in the canteen. That girl has always been in trouble, and I’ve known it from the start. She’s manipulative, spiteful, and has a nasty habit of targeting anyone I’m close to.
She’s confessed her feelings to me countless times, but I’ve never felt even the slightest bit of interest in her. If anything, her constant meddling only makes me despise her more. I have no doubt that she’s the reason behind Jimin’s sudden coldness toward me.
I clenched my fists as my thoughts spiraled, the frustration bubbling inside me. And just as I was mentally cursing her, the devil herself walked in. Lia strutted into the classroom with her usual smug confidence, making her way toward me.
At the same time, Jimin entered. Our eyes met briefly, a fleeting second that felt like eternity, but he quickly averted his gaze, his shoulders slumping as he walked to the back of the room.
Lia plopped down beside me, flashing a sly smile that made my blood boil. I didn’t know what game she was playing this time, but I was done tolerating her antics.
I made up my mind right then and there. Today, no matter what it took, I was going to talk to Jimin. Whether I had to drag him out of class or corner him in the hallway, I wasn’t going to let him keep running away from me.
The professor started droning on about something I couldn’t care less about, and as always, I felt myself drifting off. My last thought before slipping into unconsciousness was simple: I’ll get my answers today, no matter what.
TIME SKIP:- at the cafeteria
Author's POV:
For the past two days, Jimin had been doing everything in his power to avoid Yoongi. Not just him, but even Taehyung and Jungkook, his closest friends. Whenever they tried to talk to him, he would throw out some random excuse and slip away, leaving them confused and a little annoyed.
But today, Taehyung and Jungkook had enough. Refusing to let Jimin isolate himself any longer, they grabbed him by the arms and dragged him to their usual spot in the cafeteria.
Their protests were loud and dramatic, drawing the attention of a few students as they went.
"Do you even know how lonely it’s been without you?" Taehyung complained, his pout exaggerated for maximum effect.
"Yeah, hyung," Jungkook chimed in, nodding furiously. "It feels like something’s missing from our meals. You can’t just abandon us like that!"
Jimin sighed, knowing he couldn’t escape this time. Reluctantly, he let them pull him down to sit at their usual table. His heart sank when he realized Yoongi was already there, sitting in his usual spot, his gaze fixed on the table.
