"SANI, COME HERE NOW!" Onyx yelled to her two year child that had just took off running after getting in trouble for writing on the walls
Asani was their new edition to the family, but was always raising hell in their home
"She not wanna come, Mommy." Four year old Summer shrugged her shoulders, swinging her feet back and forth
She was sitting on the kitchen counter, eating dry lucky charms and trying not to laugh at the situation
Onyx had to take a deep breath before her reply. "Yes, Summer. I know."
She threw down the dish rag since she was done washing dishes, then washed out the sink before drying her hands and putting her engagement ring and wedding band on
"I have to go find your sister, come sit in the living room." She helped Summer down
"Okay."
She walked Summer to their living room, turning on the TV for her. Summer sat on the couch, giving her mom a kiss
"Thank you, baby."
"You welcome." Summer smiled with her eyes on the TV that played Lyla in the Loop
Almost instantly, Onyx walked away to go find her two year old that was fast, but bad at staying quiet
"If you don't bring your butt here!" She said, seeing Sani's feet enter Summer's bedroom very fast
Onyx assumed it would be hard since they lived in a three story home with six bedrooms and five bathrooms, a big play area, and a large front and back yard with other chill areas
She entered Summer's room and the first thing she heard was Sani giggling
This girl thinks this is a game
Sani was on the other side of Sumemr's bed, so onyx went around and pulled her up. "Why'd you just run from me?"
"I not know." Sani giggled pretty hard because she was still not taking the situation serious and Onyx didn't know if she could either
"You need to stop drawing on my damn walls." She picked her up fully, so Sani put her legs around her
"Why you keep doing that?" She asked, genuinely wanting to know
"It fun, Mama."
Onyx was dumbfounded, she frowned and looked at her like she was crazy. "Well, it's not fun for me or your daddy. Please stop doing that, I will put some chalkboard paint on one of your walls."
The two year old stuck her pinky finger out, her mother shook her head, but still pinky promised her
"And don't start running from me when I'm trying to tell you something, it's not kind." She reprimanded, walking out of Summer's bedroom
