— Recap —
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" The crowd chanted, wanting to see both guilds duke it out.
As Sting took a daring step towards Natsu, Natsu also edged forwards until Erza reached her arm out to stop him, and then turned her attention to Sorella's guild mates.
"Although you may be considered to be the strongest guild in all of Fiore. You'd be wise to heed this warning so listen carefully," Erza's livid glare glazed over all of them.
"Making an enemy out of Fairy Tail is a decision you will come to regret," Erza threatened.~ ~ ~
When the royal guards had eventually split up the Fairies and the Tigers off the pitch before they got into an unofficial brawl, the crowds were disappointed. Everyone (including Chapati and Mr. Lavani) wanted to see both guilds go all out, and understandably so, the officials didn't want that to happen.
It went without saying that the Magic Council knew how much destruction Fairy Tail could cause without even trying, and Sabertooth wouldn't exactly back down either once it got started. A full on fight between both guilds would leave devastating results.
So as the Fairy Tail wizards and the Sabertooth wizards returned to their balconies and Lucy was taken out of the arena, carried on an emergency cot, it took a while for Mato to remove the water sphere and for the commentators to calm down the disappointment of the spectators.Back at the Sabertooth team balcony, Sorella waited for her guild mates to return with a glower, as Rogue stood off to the side.
When Minerva was the first one who walked in, (she had changed back into her blue slit dress), Sorella turned her gaze to her."That's a look I haven't seen on you in a while, Sorella. Did something upset you?" Minerva had to audacity to act confused, but the smug attitude was still present. "You took it too far, you already won when you took her keys. Why did you draw out that fight?" Sorella demanded as she ignored Sting, Rufus, and Orga, who came in after Minerva.
Their conversation immediately dropped when they saw the two women at odds with one another.
"She seemed adamant about getting hurt. After all, we all heard her say 'hit me with your best shot', I only intended to grant her wish," Minerva scoffed. "I came out on top in the end, that's all that matters," she added dismissively.
Sorella looked her up and down with an unimpressed gaze.
"What matters is that you don't go all out and boil your opponent half to death in front of thousands, because she said something to piss you off. You're supposed to have more restraint than that," Sorella retorted.
Minerva's glare sharpened, but Sorella stood firm.
"Who do you think you are to lecture me? You have no right! That weakling got what she deserved for spitting her idealistic beliefs and challenging me! Challenging Sabertooth!" Minerva spat back.
"You need to work on your moral compass then, because Erza was right. You went past the bounds of human decency," Sorella said coldly.
"So you're going against your own guild? Is that what you're saying?" Minerva sneered.
"I never said that, but what I am saying is that you didn't entertain anyone with your act of sadism. It goes without saying that you're cruel and heartless, Lady Minerva," Sorella said as she walked past Minerva, purposely bumping shoulders into her.
"How dare you say that to me?! Where do you think you're going?!" Minerva seethed as Sorella walked out the door.
"Out," Sorella said, ignoring all the various looks she was given from the others.
"Don't you dare walk away from me!" Sorella could sense Minerva summon her magic before tossing it at her, but all Sorella did was mask herself in her illusion body spell.
Minerva's magic phased right through her torso and her spell hit the floor a few feet in front of her.
"Looks like you missed," she stated.
Sorella didn't even have to look back, she knew Minerva was livid.
