— Recap —

"Illusionary spell: copy and duplicate!" Sorella summoned her own small army of baby dragons, successfully confusing and therefore distracting some of the dragons as they went to attack her copied which allowed her an opening to attack.
"Prominent light of Chiara!" She blasted a few baby dragons with an explosion of her own and they went flying into the distance.
Just then, she got blasted from behind and Sorella cried out in pain as she got thrown headfirst into another wall. "S-Shit!" She felt the wounds she already suffer on her back open up wider and when she forced herself to turn around, three dragons were already starting to close in on her and they all dropped their jaws to shoot lasers at her.
"Looks like I'm through. I'm sorry Sting, Milianna, everyone..." She whispered as she laid on the ground in defeat.
Goodbye, Erza.
Sorella closed her eyes and accepted her fate as their magic released and the beams shot right at her and she soon expected to see the bright light of the afterlife her Master had told her about, but instead; a scream of pain rung out that didn't belong to her and her eyes shot open to a sight that horrified her instead and she was horrified.

Erza Scarlet had jumped in front of Sorella and took the lasers right through her chest and stomach to protect her.
"E-Erza?!" Sorella's eyes widened and she with a sudden burst of energy, she got onto her knees to crawl over to Erza's side to see her laying in the ground in a pool of her growing blood. "But w-why—?" She rasped, eyes widening as a frightened expression crossed her face.
"Sorella, are you— are you okay?" Erza asked as Sorella placed her head on her lap.
"I am but... But what about you?! Why did you take those for me? I-I could've..." Sorella's voice cracked as tears started to brim the corner of her eyes.
"Because... Because even if you don't see me as one—" Erza started to cough out blood.
"N-No, don't talk— save your strength, I—" she stammered.
"Sorella, I still see you as my — my sister, and I want to apologize — dearly," Erza managed to gasp out as she placed a hand on Sorella's cheek.
She immediately felt the blood from her palm stain her face.
"Erza I... Apologize to me by staying alive," Sorella's tears started to fall on Erza's face and she smiled sadly at her.
"Here, stay still. I-I'll heal you," Sorella placed her hand on her bandaged chest but Erza grabbed her hand to stop her and shook her head.
"Why?"
"I-I'm afraid that — I'm far too injured for that..." She replied and Sorella chuckled humourlessly, like Erza just told her a funny joke that wasn't actually funny.
"You're in Fairy Tail, you — you're not supposed to give up like that, Erza..!" Sorella begged. "Come on, you managed to slay 100 monsters and came out victorious, so you should be able to do the same with dragons..!" Sorella tried to convince her but maybe she was trying to convince herself instead.
"Sorella, I'm glad you're alive... You grew up to be a strong and amazing woman and I'm proud of you," Erza's hand dropped to her side and she slowly closed her eyes.
Sorella let out a whimper.
"Erza??" She gently shook her shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Sorella... Please live," Erza's eyes finally closed and she didn't open them again.
"No..! This - this isn't funny, please wake up..!" Sorella shook her shoulder again and she was in denial. "I don't want you to die, okay? I'm sorry for everything I said the other night, so please, wake up!" She trembled as her world started to crash and burn right in front of her, but Erza didn't respond, even as she tried to heal her but failed.
"Nonono, Erza... Don't do this to me, please! No, I don't want to lose you again, please don't leave me! Erza wake up, you can't be gone..." She begged hopelessly.
"This is some kind of nightmare, right? This can't be happening..." But reality started to settle over Sorella when Erza didn't reply.
"Erza... Erza..? ERZA!" She screamed so loudly that her voice echoed into the night and she wailed.
Sorella wailed harder than she ever did in nine years, like she did back at the tower when she was six, and in result, waves of light released from her body, killing all the dragons in its wake as she mourned over the loss of her sister.
