"You need to loosen up, Abby."

- Abelle
Even though I felt like I was about to hurl on stage, I still did everything I could to prove that I wasn't some quiet chick from upstate New York. People were always saying that and it made me so mad at times.
"Long hair, pretty eyes, nice booty like pow
Guys think I'm cute, look at me like wow
Ugly lookin' hoes wanna fight me right now
You starin like you wanna get it but how
Boo look at you
You remind me of the shit at the bottom of my shoe"
I finished my rap which lead to a ton of boosting from the audience. I tossed the mic towards my opponent who was looking at me with ultimate thirst. He bit his lip as he caught the mic and looked at me up and down. He was mad ugly. I placed my hands on my hips as I waited for him to rap onto the already dropped beat.
"How 'bout we skip the rap and just go straight to the date?" He asked. I laughed and blushed just a little. I shook my head and then climbed off the stage. Tracie failed an attempt to try to act hood and fist bump me. I did it anyway and then tore through the crowd leaving him dumb founded and still waiting for an answer.
As I skimmed through the crowd, I saw a light skin tone guy with a fresh haircut staring at me. His style was dope, and the whole 'vibe' I was getting from him was even better. I admit, I did want to be single so I can focus on school, but it's something about him...
"Are you Abelle?" A feminine voice said from behind me, sending my thoughts to a halt. I turned around and smiled as I looked at her. Man was she a threat, no hate though.
I nodded, "Yes. Who are you?" I asked politely. Her once nervous face turned into a genuine smile.
"Shayne. Shayne Renee." She replied, shaking my hand. Her hair was a light brown, her eyes were tear drop shaped to the side, and overall her body was banging. (No Nicki.)
"What can I help you with?" I asked her.
"You're my roommate." She grinned.
"Wait, I thought I had one..." My generosity turned into confusion as I stared at her paper. Believe it or not, it was my exact dorm.
"Three roommates each room girl," Shayne giggled as we started walking. "How is our other one?"
I scoffed, "Annoying. She's one of those bratty people. Also, she's 'head sister' of Omega. Ew."
"Omega?" Shayne rolled her eyes. "It's Team Kappa all day!"
"Ayee," I cheered as I high-fived her. "I like you already." We laughed as we entered the dorm. Fortunately, Tracie wasn't in there. She probably had an Omega meeting or something. Whatever.
Shayne walked in and threw her suitcases on the bed, sitting next to it in the process. "Imma go shower across the hallway," Shayne sighed as she unpacked a couple of things. "I want to get to get to know you too!" Smiling, I nodded okay and laid down once she left.
Thirty minutes later, she came in with pajamas on and her hair was soaked. After blow drying it for her, I finally went to shower myself. Afterwards, I brushed my teeth and skipped back to my room in my pajamas, getting ready to have my 'girl time' with Shayne.
**
"Whatcha wanna know?" I asked Shayne. We were both sitting on the floor in our dorm, eating crackers and cheese. Apparently we both love this as a snack, and we made jokes about how much we looked like birds while eating 'em.
