After some extra convincing I decided to just listen to Chris and just get ready for the award show. It was off to a great start, he won most of the awards he was up for and I did what he said. Stand, clap, smile, and peck his cheek when he stood up to claim his award.
I wore a Marilyn Monroe styled red dress with Versace heels and no make up at all. I wanted to show the people and the media that I'm real and I'm really beautiful. My hair was down in its natural curls and I got a lot of compliments from celebrities and paparazzi, which boosted my ego and confidence.
They were showing the nominees for the best Male artist and my leg was shaking uncontrollably. It was the last award Chris was up for and I desperately wanted him to win this one so he could propose to me on national television.
Yup.
I said it.
I saw the box in his pocket when he collected the first award, fandemonium. I almost cried when I saw it. He actually wanted to marry me, and that scared me at first, but then I realized... I'm actually scared because I want to marry him too.
I want to have his kids, I want to make sweet love to him unprotected, I wanted to be the one he sings out (with no doubt that he's talking about someone else), I wanted to be the girl he talks about having rough,
passionate sex with, I wanted to be his everything. And I could once he got down on one knee.
My heart was pounding, my palms were sweaty, my knees were weak. Justin Timberlake unraveled the envelope and spoke into the mic. I'm gunna cry, I'm gunna--
"Chris Brown!" He shouted as he began to clap his hands. My jaw dropped and Chris and I both stood up.
I gave him a hug and went to sit down when he grabbed my hand. He pulled me up the steps and onto the grand stage where thousands of people inside of the auditorium were looking and applauding his victory. I smiled and held onto his hand as he took his award from JT with a huge smile on his face.
Looking like he was about to cry, he spoke into the microphone. "Thanks to God, thanks so much to team breezy, thank you to my mother for always believing me, and to the beautiful woman standing next to me, thank you for being in my life no matter what happened." He got down onto one knee, still holding my hand, and pulled out the black box. The whole crowd of people gasped before I could. "I know I'm not perfect, but you're perfect for me, Abelle Jones. Will you honor me by letting me marry you?"
"Yes," I nodded trying to hold back my tears. He burst into sobs and slid the wedding ring onto my left finger. He was shaking just as I was, but he wasted no time in lifting me into the air and planting kisses all over me. Everyone cheered and LaLa announced a commercial break.
"I love you," we said to each other in between kisses. It was all so sudden and I felt like I was dreaming. I was marrying my college loves after all this time.

Damn girl had me crying on the most watched award show in history. But I love her anyway :)
Yo I'm wrapping this up. There really isn't much to do. Just do the wedding and it's all over. I'm going to request that all of you read a book I have coming out called Selfish.
