As Evelyn went inside her house, she was welcomed by a warm fluffy brush through her legs. It was Sushi. She picked her up and smothered her with love and kisses.
"I missed you my baby! How was your day?" She said.
In answer she got a low voice meow.
She went to the living room and saw a few suspicious changes in her house that weren't like right now when she left.
"Did someone break into our house?", she says in the lowest voice possible.

She carried Sushi in her arms inside the house only to find the television switched on and someone in the dark house in front of her refrigerator light in the kitchen.
She widened her eyes and looked for a defensive weapon.

The person turned around to look at Evelyn. Evelyn screamed. Sushi ran towards the mysterious person.
"Sushi! Don't go near-", she yelled.

"Oh! You're here! Hello!", Evelyn was welcomed by a familiar shrill voice.
She looked at the person in confusion and turned on the lights switch.

It was Adele!
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE! ARE YOU CRAZY?", she yelled.

"How about a hello first?", Adele said and moved towards the couch with a bag of chips and a soft drink.

"Shut up! What are you doing here?", Evelyn asked.

"I didn't get to meet you today. And you said you were about to leave, so I decided to surprise you!", Adele said with a mischievous smile.

"More like giving me a heart attack you psycho!", Evelyn yelled.

"Haha! Come sit. Tell me all about today? How was it? With Mr. Supervisor?", Adele spoke as her eyes teased Evelyn.

"It was productive! Eventful! We got almost everything finished today.. I'll go straight to the place tomorrow, not to the office.", Evelyn answered completely ignoring the fact that she was being teased.

"Oh no! I was thinking we could grab breakfast on the way to the office together!", Adele cried.

"We could. It's no biggie. We can eat and the head our ways?", Evelyn suggested.

"Hell yeah. I am down! It's been a while we spent time like this. It's too busy these days. ARGH!", Adele whined.

"What do you want to eat? Want me to cook?", Evelyn asked.

"I would love that!", Adele's eyes glimmered with the thought of Evelyn's cooking. She's a total fan for it.

"Okay then! Let's go. What shall I cook?", Evelyn asked.

Adele thought for a while as if it was a life decision, "How about.. Mac and cheese?"

"Okay!", Evelyn said and moved towards the kitchen as Adele followed her.

While Evelyn cooked, Adele talked.

They ate and drank and finally dozed off to sleep while blabbering about how life's so cruel and unreliable, considering both of their life experiences.

In the morning, Evelyn woke up to a sore neck. She realised they both slept on the couch. The dishes were still on the table. The television still switched on, the blanket, on the floor, and Adele, having sleep of her life in such an uncomfortable position.

Evelyn freshened up and went to wake up Adele.
"Wake up! We can't have breakfast like this!"

Adele threw a tantrum but eventually had to wake up.

They both got ready and ordered their breakfast. Obviously! They both knew breakfast on how they decided to eat, was not happening. It was too late to go out to have breakfast.
Both having sore neck, ate breakfast in a hurry and headed out of Evelyn's house. They locked the door and took a step outside together to head to their own destination. The sleep in their eyes was completely disturbed by a loud horn.
