Samuel got ready early in the morning for the office and got out of his house early too.

He reached Evelyn's house 10 minutes early.
Evelyn got out of her house and saw Samuel waiting for her.
She rushed towards the car,

"You're early! You could have called!", she exclaimed.

"It's okay! I can wait for YOU!", Samuel said.

Evelyn widened her eyes.

"Now get inside.", Samuel ordered.

Evelyn opened the door and found a bouquet of her favourite flowers, carnations with bubble tea on the seat with a note that spelled,
'GOOD MORNING!' with a hand-drawn smile.

She looked at Samuel as he smiled at her.

She was a little nervous and also confused.
She settled in the passenger seat with the stuff in her lap.

While on the way, she asked,
"What's with the extremely happy mood in the morning? The bouquet and all..".

"I told you before! I do what my heart says. Carnations are your favourite as far as I remember..", he said as he looked at her intensely.

Evelyn looked down in shyness.

"I also wanted to make it up for yesterday. I could not drive you home..", he added.

"I told you, it's fine!", Evelyn said as her cheeks could feel the hurt from smiling now.

"I know. But as I said, it was mostly because I felt it was right obeying what my heart told me to do.", he said.

Evelyn blushed as he said that.

As they reached the office. Evelyn got out of the car immediately and rushed into the office. She couldn't contain herself standing so close to him after how loved he's been making her feel like since the past 30 minutes during the car ride.

Even his silence could make her feel shy and his low breath and gulps could make her feel embarrassed for how she felt.

Evelyn eyed around the office and rushed towards Adele after leaving her stuff at her desk.

"What happened? Why are you so red? Sick? You should have taken the day off then,", Adele asked.

"Is it visible?", Evelyn exclaimed.

"Yes! What's up?", Adele asked.

"Dude! He's getting so hard to resist. He got me my favourite flowers, he remembered what I liked. I felt so shameless gazing at him.", Evelyn said as she squinted her eyes in disbelief on herself.

"Man's in action now!", Adele murmured. She didn't tell Evelyn she had exposed her after losing her calm.

"Huh?", Evelyn asked.

"Oh I was saying that it's good. Seems like he's reciprocating your feelings! Good sign!", Adele said lowering her eyes pretending she didn't say anything.

Evelyn nodded her head, screaming quitely in gibberish.

After some dramatic voices, Evelyn calmed herself and went to her seat quietly as Adele just looked at her in shock. One second she was jumping and the next, a serious working woman had shown up.

In the break time, Adele and Evelyn went to have lunch, after that when they were coming, Samuel secretly eyed Adele which Adele understood that he wanted Evelyn alone.

She asked Evelyn to go and wait for her by the window and she would be coming back in a moment..

Evelyn walked towards the window and stood there, looking outside when a tall man shadowed her completely.
