~Michael's POV~
I was standing outside of my house, waiting for Taylor to arrive. Her flight had landed about one hour ago, so she should be here soon. I looked up at the clear blue sky and I breathed in the summer air: it smelt of flowers and newly-mown gardens. The sun was shining down onto the city of Sydney: I could see the dark yellow orb reflected on the car windows.
I heard the squeal of a car wheel and I turned around and saw a black jeep come speeding down the road. It stopped in front of me and the black door opened. Taylor pushed herself out of the car: she was wearing a white vest and blue jeans. She had black sunglasses that were placed gently on her forehead, and they parted her fringe. She ran over to me and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. I could smell her grapefruit perfume, it wasn't that strong but something felt so empowering about it. She let go of me and placed her palms on my shoulders.
"Okay. We've got some serious problems that need to be dealt with. I've got a plan, and I'll explain it to you once we get inside. And it's nice to see you again Michael." Taylor shouted at me. Her hearing had obviously gone after the 24 hour plane flight and it hadn't come back yet.
"It's nice to see you too Tay." I said to the person who was once my teenage boy crush. I grabbed her hand and led her into my house.
Taylor grabbed a small chair at the dinner table and she sat down on it - I think she was the first person to ever use the table. I sat down on the chair beside her. There was a lot of awkward silence - it felt like 2 hours, but it probably only lasted a few seconds.
"So..." Taylor said as she broke the silence. "How have things been?" She asked me. I didn't know how to answer that. Things had been okay actually, it was kind of strange: having no Calum in my life took out all of this unnecessary drama - yet I still missed him so much and I wanted him back.
"They've been okay I guess. I just miss Calum." I confessed to Taylor. She put her arm around my shoulder, and she cared for me as a friend. It was nice to have a friend. I mean I had Luke and Ashton and others but they were all friends with Calum, but Taylor was my friend. She was here to support me.
"Yeah I understand you sweetie. Okay so like I said on the phone, you are going to need to try your hardest to try and get Calum back." Taylor said as she rubbed her fingers along the marble table.
"But. I know this sounds dumb, but I don't know whether he deserves to have me back, if you know what I mean?" I asked Taylor. She looked at me with a confused expression, meaning that she didn't know what I meant.
"Well the last time he mistreated me. Like I mean he just used me for sex, and again didn't want to get with me because he was afraid of people hating on him because of his sexuality. So then we get back together and I fall into his trap again, and then he just fucking left me because he was being a paranoid little fuck and he kept thinking that people were hating on him even though they weren't." It felt weird to spill my feelings out to Taylor. I had never been so open with someone about how I felt about Calum.
"But that's not true, is it? You may feel like that but you know that deep down in your heart you still love him. It's not his fault - he needs to learn that people aren't hating on him. And that's when my plan comes into place." Taylor told me as she got her phone out from her back pocket.
"So what's your plan then?" I asked her. Taylor pressed a few buttons on her phone and she opened up her gallery app. She pressed the screen and up came a video.
"Okay, so I kinda hacked you Twitter and posted from it asking the fans to send me videos of them saying about how they accepted who Calum was. I put them together into a video montage. Calum will hopefully see that what he thinks is wrong." She whispered to me as she passed me the phone. "Now I don't want you to watch this until you get to Calum's house - you're going to be going there tonight. And you will watch it with him."
I couldn't believe that someone would do this for me. Taylor had done something for me and I didn't think that anyone had ever done something like that without it benefiting themselves. I embraced her in my arms, I couldn't thank her enough.
"Thank you Taylor. Thank you so much." I said to her as I gripped her tightly between my arms. I wanted to hug her forever, but I needed to get ready to see Calum.
"How do you know he'll be there?" I asked Taylor. I was worried about seeing him. The last time I saw his he was completely distraught and I was worried that he would be so much worse. I was nervous to see him because I didn't want to see him in a terrible state again.
"I just know it. He hasn't been seen outside of his house since the night you two, ended it." She said to me as I let go of the hug I had given her. "So you'd better get ready Michael, you've got a boyfriend to get back."
