It was a warm end of August day. I was walking near the sea, the chilly wind brushing against my cheeks, and I wiggled my toes in the sand. I decided to return to cabin 3, to get ready for lunch.
I passed by the big house when I heard voices. My curiosity got me, and I entered. "I am not going to some magic school in the past," Nico's voice said.
I enter, "What is going on?" I asked Chiron who looked frustrated. Nico is standing in front of him with his arms crossed.
"Now is not the time, YN" Chiron says. "But please meet me here again with the rest of the Eight after lunch. There are some matters I'd like to discuss with you." And he walked away. I turned to Nico who still had his arms crossed. "What was that all about?"
Nico just frowned and said," You'll know" and he walked out.
I scowled. I don't like being ignored like this. I also didn't like to have missing information. I shook my head and walked back to my cabin.
"Hey YN!" Percy greeted me. I smiled at him, "Chiron said he needed us all after lunch. He says he has 'some important matters' to discuss with us"
Percy groaned: "I hate the sound of that"
"Believe me, I don't like it either. But we have lunch now. Come on"
Percy and I walked together to the dining pavilion snickering and bickering at eachother.
"Hey guys, wait up!" someone said behind us. We turned and saw Jason and Piper.
"Hey," I said "Chiron needs us after lunch"
Piper narrowed her eyes "Why?"
"I don't know. He didn't want to tell me."
She shrugged and we walked to lunch.
...
The dining pavilion was filled. People were chatting everywhere, forks, spoons and plates were clattering. I sat down and my favourite food appeared on my plate. My stomach grumbeled and I dug in.
"Campers, may I have your attention please?" Chiron said at the front, "Our friends from Camp Jupiter have come to visit us today. Please welcome them nicely and treat them well. You may continue."
Chatter filled once more in the pavilion. I got excited at seeing the romans again. We haven't seen them in a while.
At that exact moment, the romans walked in with Reyna at the front. I stood up and gave Reyna a huge hug. "Welcome back," I told her. She looked stiff at first, I guessed she wasn't used to physical touch, but she smiled and greeted me. "I am glad to be here too, YN"
We all greeted the romans. I told the rest of the Eight of our meeting.
"I don't want any more trouble or quests!" Leo groaned. There was oil all around his face and shirt. The usual.
"If we keep standing here and complaining we will never know. I suggest we go to the big house and see what is going on." Annabeth said.
