Gryffindor common room was a circular room decorated in the house colours of red and gold. The Gryffindor common room was filled with cosy sofas next to a roaring fire. There were not many left in the common room. It was almost 11 pm.
"Uh, this staircase up is the boys dormitories. The same for the girls the other side," Remus said.
I threw myself on one of the couches. Oh how cozy those are!
"Hey, scoot over it's not yours alone," Piper nudged me. And when I didn't move, she rolled me off the sofa and I fell down with a squeal.
We all sat together on the sofa and some on the ground, since there was no space for all.
"Has anyone thought about classes and our dyslexia problem?" Percy suddenly said. Good question. I mean, my dyslexia isn't as bad as the others'... but it could get really frustrating.
"Chiron has asked the teachers to write the text in Greek and Latin. And we will be teaching mythology." Annabeth said. That made me alarmed. Us? Teaching? I always felt bad for the teachers. You know... when kids don't behave... etc. But becoming one? I never thought of that! I was too distracted by staying alive that I never really thought of later.
Leo choked on his drink," Teaching? Us? With dyslexia? And ADHD? How is that even possible? And how did no one tell us about it before?"
"Chiron told us!" Annabeth protested.
"Who is us? He told you! Not us!"
"Shut up! Now you know!" Annabeth ended the discussion staring straight into Leo's eyes with her stormy eyes. Leo eventually had to break eye contact.
"Who wants to join this Quidditch game Dumbledore talked about? I also heard James saying he is Gryffindor Quidditch captain!" Jason said, cutting the obvious tension.
"I don't know, but I think I'm going to bed first," I said yawning. I walked up to the girls' dormitories. There were already three occupied beds. But there were also four perfectly made ones.
"Ah! YN! Good to see you!" Mary said as I walked over to my bed. Mine was the one next to Lily's. Or what I thought belonged to Lily, since she was sitting on it.
"We were just discussing classes! What are you excited for?" Lily asked.
"Oh uhm," I haven't really thought about it. I heard of DADA and Transfiguration. I decided I'd go with Transfiguration, since it's new.
"Transfiguration," I said," Professor McGonagall seemed nice."
"Nice? Well, yeah she is nice! But extremely strict. You'd think she hates the marauders 'cause they can't pull themselves together! But guess what! They are her favorites! Especially Sirius!" Marlene complained. I, of course already knew that from Dumbledore and McGonagall, but decided to act surprised.
About a quarter an hour later, Piper came in followed closely by Hazel. Hazel looked worried and Piper tried to look mad even though I could see she was trying not to laugh.
"Potter, Black, Percy and Leo are... combined," she said. That was enough to let me plunge out of the room.
I climbed down the stairs as fast as I could. But with what I saw infront of me was hilarious. The only thing that kept me from laughing out loud was Annabeth's angry shouts and Remus' face.
Sirius, James, Leo and Percy were all dangling down from a chandelier, making various monkey noises. Suddenly, Sirius started singing at the top of his lungs 'What makes you beautiful' (AN: Ik one direction wasn't in 1976 but can u pls let it pass?)
Leo picked up the lyrics in between and started to sing with Sirius. Well, no words can describe the way they were singing. Annabeth ran past me up the stairs in frustration. I followed her up, because I know that one more minute and I'd be dangling with them.
When I got to the room, I expected Annabeth to be punching at anything she saw, but I was shocked to find her laughing. I stood frozen at the door. Piper ran up behind me.
"Oh my god did you- What the?" She stopped midway when she noticed Annabeth.
Annabeth eventually stopped laughing and she looked at us, "What?" She said.
"Annabeth that was tote creepy! One second you look like you are gonne murder them all, and the next you are laughing." Hazel said who appeared next to Piper.
We all cracked and hysterical laughter until we were out of breath and slept.
