Alessia

My body relaxes and I cupped his face deepening the kiss. Angelo's hand stopped at the small of my back. He sucked on my lower lip for the longest time before pulling away. We rested our foreheads on each other, with our breath fanning against each other's faces. "Do you have an idea of what you just did?" He whispered.

"I did nothing," I replied equally. "You were practically enjoying your time with Annie too."

His thumb brushed off my face, one that made me melt in his touch. "Annie's case is different. You allowed another man to sit next to you." I wanted to laugh at his statement but held it in.

"You should have been with me. You left me all alone." I pouted. His forehead left mine. He stared into my eyes. Intently, that had me drowning myself in the pool of his eyes.

"I didn't. My attention has been on you all the while. You just didn't notice. You were too busy playing hard to get." I rolled my eyes jerking my face from his hold.

"Yes. Go. I don't want to talk to you." I folded my arms pouting. Angelo chuckled in return.

"Are you sure?" He ushered.

"Yes. I don't want to see your face or talk to you." I still didn't meet his eyes. Silence followed. When I turned around, I found him looking at me.

"Alright then. I'm off. Goodbye."

"Wait—"

But he left, leaving me confused. I was only joking around. "Is he angry?"

I didn't expect Angelo to take my words seriously, yet he did. He didn't speak to me again or even cast a look at my direction all through the rest of the evening. Even after we drove back home. He was all quiet. I didn't think I said anything bad as I was only playing around. Not that I meant what I said.

When we arrived home, he sauntered his way up without a word. Annie and I shared a look and she gave me a questioning brow. "What's with you guys now?" She asked.

I shrugged my shoulder in return. "I don't know. We were cool earlier. I was just joking around when I told him to leave that I don't want to talk to him." I voiced out worriedly.

"Wait... you told him to leave? Why?" Annie asked. The rest of the guys have left also leaving us seated in the sitting room.

"Like I said I was only playing around. I didn't mean what I said. I don't think that should make him angry."

"Yet, it did. Do you have an idea how hard it was for him not to be with you? You acted as if he's not worth your time."

"I don't get you. Why would I think that?"

"Because you don't know it, Alessia. But you hurt his feelings. Angelo isn't like this, yet he's willing to cool it off for you." I watched as she stood up and left. I got more confused than ever.

I've said far worse things to him than this. Why would he be angry when he knew I was only playing around? Why make a big deal out of it? I stayed in that sitting position processing everything. In the end, I sauntered up and went straight to his room.

I fisted my knuckles on the door. "Angelo, can we talk?" I said straightforwardly.

After a while, his voice came through. "Come in."

I inhaled a sharp breath before gently pushing the door open. I was met with a dimly lit room. I found him standing at the vanity mirror combing his hair. I gulped down at the sight of his naked chest. "Are we good?" I commenced trying my best not to dwell on how much I was resisting the urge not to run my hands over his torso.
