Chp 37: Dad Beat Dad (Part 6)

Bella gets into her fighting stance as she makes the first move. Lucifer goes after her once she tries to swing a punch at him.

He uses his fireball at Bella to which she dodged it.

"You think that you can fight me..? Ha! You must either have a big stick up your ass or you just want to die right here and now!" Lucifer says mockingly to Bella as she sighs in irritation.

She quickly goes up to Lucifer and takes a swing at him again, Lucifer grabs the fist but before he can swing her away, she uses his angelic magic and sucker punches Lucifer in the mouth, causing him to fly back from the impact.

Bella stays where she is at, not wanting to make a crucial mistake. Lucifer recollects himself a rubs off his jaw that got sucker punched. "Haha, Wow, that sure was a punch, but that won't work!" Lucifer tells her as he quickly flys at her, Bella does the same.

The two scream in either frustration and/or anger. The two finally hit one another with there moves, causing both to fly back.

"Ack!!" Bella grunts out as her body gets slammed against the hallways wall.

Lucifer quickly stops himself from doing the same and just sighs out in irritation.

"Now your just pissing me off!" Lucifer says as his eyes turn red.

Bella gets up with her angelic blood trickling down the side of her mouth. She quickly wipes it off as Lucifer goes and attacks her.

Bella quickly dodges it, "Think fast" Lucifer says, as he is behind her now.

She turns out of panic but was too late when Lucifer uses his move. This makes Bella tumble a few steps away from him.

She lays on the ground in defeat as Lucifer slowly approaches her.

"...I'm surprised you given up so easily, oh well, I guess it's easier this way." Lucifer says as he grabs Bella's head and was about to annihilate her until Bella turns her head.

"I don't think so, Sir." Bella says with a small smirk as she uses her special move, causing Lucifer to fly back and hit his head against the hallway's wall.

Bella quickly goes to him and places a foot onto his head while restraining his other limbs.

"I got you." Bella says as she huffs out in a bit of exhaustion from the fight her and Lucifer had.

Lucifer realizes that he is in a sticky situation, he starts to have flashbacks of his wife and his child, Charlie when things were happy and simple, one tear leaks out of him as he grunts out.

"Do it.." Lucifer says to Bella.

"What..?" Bella asks in confusion.

"You got me in your grasps, you can kill me, I'm sure heaven would appreciate that..so do it." Lucifer says solemnly as Bella looks at him in sorrow.

She lets go of him, Lucifer looks at her in shock.

"Why did you let me go? You could've killed me." Lucifer asks as he stands up in shock.

"I can, your right...but I don't want to." Bella says.

"W-Why?" Lucifer asks, holding his Apple cane in his hand, already back into his regular form.

"Because that's not who I am, I don't want to be like that, my ideal life is that everyone can go to a better place...kinda like what Charlie is trying to do, that's why I haven't done anything bad to her, but I do know why you got upset with me." Bella tells Lucifer as she thinks back to the interactions between her and Charlie. "In ways, I am betraying her and the hotel she has built for this cause of sinners being good. That's why I'll stop contacting heaven and help her out." While Bella says this, Lucifer looks at her in awe, so surprised that a Angel like Bella has different morals than the other angels he has encountered with.
