“Toms?” Toby walked in, his voice quiet and sweet. “You doing alright?”
“I feel like shit.” Tommy replied. “Everything hurts.”
“Mark went out to get you some medicine. They should be back soon.” Toby sat on the bed right next to Tommy.
“I’m so fucking pissed dude. I could’ve caught that evil prick if they didn’t just disappear.”
“And you didn’t see anything about them?”
“Nope. It was too dark.”
“I have an idea. I can see in the dark, remember? I’ll go out alone and catch the fucker!”
“Really? You’ll put yourself in danger. Take the tall fuck with you.” Tommy sighed.
“He’s busy tonight. I’ll be fine, I promise.” Toby smiled.
“If you say so..”

Later that Night, about an hour after Mark left and Tommy had fallen asleep, Tubbo snuck out of the house, on the lookout for the villain. He was looking in every alleyway, through every street, and behind every tree. In the middle of him looking, he heard something. He quickly turned, getting a glimpse of the person before they disappeared again. “Shit..” Tubbo looked around, trying to see if the villain would appear. He heard something and whipped around, punching the villain in the face, causing them to stumble back and drop a syringe. Tubbo caught one last glimpse of the villain, seeing only their glowing eyes, before they disappeared again. “Dammit! So close!” Tubbo looked at the ground and noticed the syringe. He picked it up, trying to touch as little of it as possible, before heading back to Mark’s house.

Mark was on their couch, scrolling on their phone, when Toby burst through the door. “Mark. You know medical shit. What’s in this.” Mark got up, grabbing the syringe. “Hm.. I have no idea. Give me some time and I’ll get back to you.” They put the syringe in their pocket. “Where did you even find that?”
“I uhm.. I went out on my own and found the villain that we’ve been searching for.” Toby looked at the ground.
“You did what. Toby that’s extremely dangerous! Do you see what they did to Tommy?”
“I’m sorry. I just wanted to help. Plus, I learned something new about them!”
“But you-” Mark paused, sighing. “Just don’t do it again. That’s dangerous. I’m just glad you aren’t hurt.” Mark pulled Toby into a hug. Toby quickly hugged back. “I was worried about you.” Mark said.
“I’m okay. Don’t worry.” Toby replied.
“Be careful from now on.” Mark checked the time. “It’s late. Go rest bee.” Toby nodded, plopping down on the couch, quickly falling asleep.

Mark sighed, taking the syringe out of his pocket, before looking back at Toby. “You’re putting yourself in more danger than you think Toby. I wish you’d understand that.” They looked at the syringe once again, noticing a few cracks. “Dammit.” Mark sighed, tossing the syringe in the trash, before walking off to his own room for the night.
