Later that night, Toby snuck out. Mark had told him not to go out looking for the villain again, but Toby didn’t care. He wanted to find out what happened to his friend and who it was that did it. So, he waited until Mark fell asleep to get changed and leave.

Tubbo went to the same street corner they originally ran into the villain. He waited and waited, looking and walking around. He seemed almost desperate to find the villain. He honestly was tempted to give up after a while, before hearing rustling in the tree behind him. He quickly spun around, seeing the villain, finally being able to identify him. “You!!” Tubbo yelled.
“Fuck.” The villain quickly hopped out of the tree, sprinting off. Tubbo quickly followed.

The chase went on for a few minutes, before Tubbo finally caught up, tackling the villain. “It’s been you?!” Tubbo asked. “I mena, it doesn’t surprise me. Innit was your first target, Clay.”
“Let me go dammit! And it’s Dream to you.” Dream growled.
“Hell no! Do you know how long my friends and I have been trying to catch you?”
“A while probably. But you guys aren’t the only ones. Plus, you and your little friends are nowhere near intimidating. You really think I’d be stopped to the likes of you?” Dream kicked Tubbo off, pinning Tubbo down, his foot pushing on Tubbo’s chest. “Look pal, you might as well give up now.” Dream grinned, lime green strings forming at his fingertips. “You’re gonna lose either way.” Dream took a few steps back, his eyes glowing a lime green, before he disappeared.

Tubbo ran home as fast as he could, bursting through the door. “I KNOW WHO IT IS!!” He shouted. Mark slowly walked into the living room.
“Toby, it’s the middle of the night.” They said tiredly.
“I know who the villain is!” Toby said excitedly. “I saw him myself!”
