Chapter Twelve - Secret Mission

It’s been a few days and Niki is still nowhere to be seen. Tommy was starting to get annoyed with the search. “Everytime we search, I swear we’re getting further and further.” He complained.
“We might be.” Toby started. “But we’ll get closer sooner or later.”
“Better be sooner rather than later.”
“Look, what do you want us to do about it? You, me, and Mark are all trying.” Toby sighed. Suddenly, Tommy got an idea.
“What if you and I go off without Mark?”
“What?! Why?”
“They’re shooting down every obvious place that Niki could be. Any old or abandoned building I point out, he says no to.”
“You do make a fair point.” Toby sighed. “When do we go?”
“After Mark leaves tonight.”

Mark had left the home a few hours ago, leaving Tommy and Tubbo more than enough time to get ready and leave. “Where would we even look?” Tubbo asked as they were walking around outside.
“Well, remember when the guy stole from every hospital imaginable? We should check the abandoned hospital.” Innit suggested.
“Where’s that at again?” Tubbo asked.
“Edge of town. Strange that Mark shot it down…”
“Yeah a little.” Tubbo shrugged. “Maybe they wanted to check less obvious places first.”
“I mean, I guess.” Innit shrugged.
“So… What if we do find this villain? What then? Do we have a plan?” Tubbo asked.
“Well… Not quite. But we could always wing it!”
“What if this villain can do more than just teleport. What then. What if we fail.”
“God since when do you overthink this much?” Innit chuckled.
“Tommy. Now’s not the time to joke.” Tubbo responded.
“Sorry… I just want to make light out of this.”
“I know.”

The two walked for a while longer, before finally arriving. “Are we sure about this..?” Tubbo asked.
“We want peace, don’t we?” Innit replied. Tubbo nodded. “Then we’re sure.” The two walked inside. The hospital was trashed. There were broken syringes and used needles scattered around. Unopened and spilled medication on breaking shelves. There were a few things still in tact, mainly medical equipment.

“Good lord. This place is creepy as hell.” Tubbo muttered, staying close to Innit. After a while of searching the building, the two heard a scream. They looked at eachother, before sprinting in that direction. They stopped right outside of a closed door. “This is it.” Innit whispered. “The villain is right behind this door. Are you ready?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be.” Tubbo said, cleary nervous. With that, Innit broke down the door. In the room were Niki and our villain. Innit and Tubbo stood there, frozen, processing the scene in front of them. “You… You’re…. You’re our villain….” Tubbo said in shock.
