37- Apologies

Drew's POV-

I chuckle quietly as I look down at my feet where Henry was crying. After so many years he hasn't changed. I look around and saw everyone else there. I immediately felt regret from the past, whilst I looked at them all smiling. They came here... just for me?

I smile, as a single tear faintly rolls down the side of my cheek. I wiped it away with my sleeve. "I'm sorry."

"What are you talking about, Drew? Why are you apologising?" Sean asked softly as everyone looked at me; listening.

"For everything I have ever done to you all," Another tear rolls down then followed by another and then another. "Like for all the times I have bullied you all.... And made fun of your group."

I couldn't even finish my sentence before it all became inaudible. I just felt all the guilt rise up again. I mean I always had the guilt but just managed to keep it within me.

I sat there wiping my eyes with my sleeves as I looked at them all. But they weren't mad or angry at me; like I expected them to be. They all had a smile on their face. Did they forget about how I treated them before or...?

Hailey was smiling warmly as she wiped a tear from her eye, before coming closer and embracing me. Then Sean and Millie and then the others. Apart from Zander...

We all hugged and cried together and I tilt my head a bit and saw Zander glaring. To be fair, I think I caused him the most trouble. But then he moved his hand up to his face and rubbed his eye. He released a shaky breath as his lip quivered ever so slight. He then moved over to the herd of people. Joining in. That made me melt fully.

Each and every one of them said something like they forgave me a long time ago, but I just had to make sure. Hailey smiled, "Oh, Drew we forgave you a long time ago.." I sniffled at her words and made me want to cry some more.

"Thanks."

A/N: Hey guys, I think this will be the last chapter. I enjoyed writing this so much. It's sad to see this ending. Thank you all for the comments and support, which in all honesty made me want to keep going. This will be it... for now.

Unless you give me ideas thennnn I'll write more, because I know that will happen either way ;)
So keep in touch because I might add some more chapters.
