It was a beautiful day in the Monastery of Spinjitzu. It had been about two months since the ninja had defeated Garmadon, Harumi, the Oni Titan, and the vicious biker gang, the Sons of Garmadon.

Everyone had pretty much moved on already and the rebuilding of their Monastery was going really well.

Kai and Skylor were currently on the roof, placing down roof tiles, Zane and Pixal were inside, calculating how big each room should be, Cole and Cryptor were in the kitchen, making a shopping list, Ronin and Seliel were in the soon-to-be forge, Morro and Jack were in Wu's office, meditating with their Master, Lloyd was on the courtyard, watching how everyone was working together, and FJay was in his younger self's workshop, bringing in some new tools and equipment, but what were Jay and Nya up to?

They were outside the Monastery walls, sitting under the beautiful sakura tree. He had his arm wrapped around her, and she held her head on his shoulder. They were supposed to be cleaning the staircase leading to the Monastery, but had become bored of it.

They didn't say a word, just minded their own business.

Nya was drawing something in her sketchbook, and Jay was thinking about his time in the First Realm.

When he had eventually gotten his sanity back, he had realized how many times he had already lost Nya, and was not giving her up anytime soon so he had decided to soon take their relationship to the next level. He was going to ask her to be his Yang.

Of course there was still much to be done, buy the medallion, get Kai's approval, get Ray and Maya's approval (which was honestly quite easy because they loved the hell out of him), ask for help from Cindy and Kai, and of course actually going on one knee and pop the question.

And obviously this wasn't marriage yet, and he wasn't even sure if she would like to get married this young so it was better to get something lighter first, but not too light.

"What are you thinking about, honey?" Nya asked curiously, continuing on drawing.

"Just about my time in the First Realm." Jay answered. "It was just kind of a shock to see Ultra actually dead."

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked worriedly, turning her head to look up at him.

"No..." He answered. "I pretty much got it out of my chest by burning down the whole Dead's End."

"Well, you know Wisp is in a better place." Nya smiled, receiving a nod from her boyfriend.

"Yeah... What are you drawing?" He decided to ask, changing the subject.

"I'm not showing it to you!" Nya exclaimed quite defensively, turning the book around.

"Oookaayyy..." Jay said, his eyes wide. "Of course you don't have to... I was just curious."

"No, I'm sorry." Nya said, looking down. "It's supposed to be something for you so you can't see it yet." She explained, giving him a small kiss on the tip of his nose.

"For me? Well, now I'm even more interested." Jay smiled, nuzzling her forehead.

"Well, you'll just have to wait." Nya said proudly, clearly enjoying teasing him.

"Okay, well, if you want to be alone for a while, I'll go see what FJay's up to." Jay said, giving Nya a small kiss on the cheek before standing back up.

"Okay, but be back soon." Nya said sadly with puppy eyes, and honestly Jay would've just wanted to go on one knee right now and ask her to marry him because of that, but he knew that he wanted to respect traditions so it had to wait.

"I promise, my Water princess." Jay gave her a smirk. "And you better be ready with the drawing then."

"Sure." Nya smiled at him before turning back to her drawing. She pulled out her phone and went into the depths of her gallery, searching for a photo of her and Jay taken about a week after they had returned from the alternate timeline.
