Monday morning you got up early, and were quick to put on your makeup and get dressed in a hurry. Steve, Bucky and Sam had stayed a little later than usual last night and Steve seemed a little put out that he didn't get to kiss you again. You chose a rose print skirt with a white blouse, and black kitten heels before putting your hair up into a messy bun. You completed the look with a bold red lip and went for breakfast early. Jillian wasn't there to join you, but Tibbs still seemed pleased. He successfully stole half the eggs on your plate and a piece of sausage. You didn't know where your little trash panda stored all of his food, but he always seemed to manage to eat more than you thought he was capable of.
You arrived at work at seven and logged in quickly after putting Tibbs down in his enclosure. You looked briefly at the mission docket for the day. Clint was on a mission with Natasha, Scott and Sam. Everyone else seemed to be assigned to desk duties or gym duties. You nodded in satisfaction and started going through the data, picking up where you had left off on Saturday morning. You had put on your headphones and turned up the music nice and loud so you could focus.

You were so busy you didn't notice anyone slip into the office. You suddenly felt a strong pair of hands on your shoulders and you yelped before taking off the pink headphones.
"Good morning, dove" Steve purred from behind you.
"Good morning, Steve" you flushed as he worked out your aching muscles.
"Did I scare you?" he asked with a chuckle.
"I wasn't expecting anyone" you turned slightly in your seat so you could look up at him. He was wearing his Captain America suit, and confusion bloomed across your face. "You're not supposed to be on a mission today," you said quickly.
"Clint's daughter is sick so it's going to be a few more days before he comes back. I'm filling in for him" he advised.
"Oh" you said, frowning a little.
"I should be back tonight for our little reading date," he said softly.
"Our reading date?" you echoed.
"Did you really think they weren't dates?" he chuckled.
"I thought we were just hanging out" you giggled.
"Maybe that's what I wanted you to think" he leaned down and kissed you on top of your head.
"Well you did keep bringing your wingmen" you smiled up at him.
"Speaking of which, they are waiting on us" he stopped rubbing your shoulders and stood back.
"Us?" you echoed.
"Yes, we want you to come for coffee again. Tony said you were due for a break" Steve smiled at you lovingly. He turned and picked up Tibbs and waited for you to stand up.
"I shouldn't be doing this. The rumor mill is already going" you sighed and stood up. He quickly went and grabbed the door and held it open for you. You walked out and he held Tibbs with one arm, and reached for your hand with his right. You walked hand in hand to the dining room, and you saw two perfect spots available, a few new faces, and of course Bucky holding out his arms expectantly for TIbbs. Steve handed him Tibbs who immediately started to purr and then he pulled out a chair for you.
"Good morning," Tony said with a broad smile on his face.
"Good morning" you flushed as you got comfortable.
"Steve said he was going to get his girlfriend, and I just knew it would be you" Wanda said inside your head.
"Yes, he's thought of little else" Loki agreed inside your head.
"He just sort of announced it to me yesterday," you said to them softly. "I'm still trying to catch up," you added, looking at Steve adoringly. He handed you a coffee and then the cream and sugar. You quickly made your coffee to your taste and you saw a few people kept looking at you.
"Y/N, I'd like you to meet Happy, Peter, Pietro, and Scott. You'll meet Clint later this week" Tony introduced.
"So you're the new data analyst" Scott said with a smirk.
"Pleasure to meet you princessa" Pietro said quickly with a smile.
"Hello," Peter waved.
"We've heard so many good things about you," Happy assured you.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, and work with you" you said, fixing your posture a little. You wanted to make a good impression, and you were kicking yourself for not doing more with your hair. Then again, most of your first impressions had been either getting punched in the face or in your pajamas. So technically you were progressing at least.
"We haven't told anyone about your abilities, don't worry" Wanda said in your head and you relaxed slightly.
"Thank you, my brother would never let me hear the end of it" you whispered into her mind.
"So, this is fast. I've never seen you move this quickly for anything Steve" Nat said with a soft smile on her face.
"I couldn't let her get away" Steve smiled, taking your hand and kissing the back of it. You flushed and gave a bashful smile. "I've always been waiting for the perfect partner" he added softly, more just to you.
"And who is the little rascal?" Happy asked.
"Oh, this is Tibbs. He's my baby" you said proudly as Bucky fed him from his plate.
"Interesting name," Peter said, looking a little perplexed.
"I initially wanted to call him Mr. Tibbs, but my brother Eric told me it was too much. I found him on December 23rd, which is also called Tibbs eve" you explained.
"Oh, that makes more sense," Peter nodded.
"How old is he?" Pietro asked.
"He's five. Domesticated raccoons can live up to twenty years" you beamed.
"I know one thing, he loves to eat," Bucky chuckled.
"Considering that's his second breakfast" you giggled.
"What time did you get up?" Steve asked curiously.
"Six" you shrugged.
"Darling, you know you can sleep in later," Loki said quickly. "No one is cracking the whip," he added.
"You only start at nine," Tony rolled his eyes.
"I had something to work on," you shrugged. You drank a few cups of coffee, since Steve kept refilling your cup as he ate his breakfast. Conversation went around the table, and it wasn't uncomfortable. It seemed they had already accepted you into the fold, and everytime you locked eyes with Steve he would look at you so adoringly.
"Time to go, Romeo" Nat said as soon as she finished eating, looking at Steve. He looked at you as though he was considering something and then he leaned over and kissed you in front of the entire team softly on the lips.
"I'll be back soon" he said as he got up, and your face was red as a tomato.
"Be safe," you said breathlessly. He gave a large smile and he left with Nat, Scott, and Sam. You went and put your coffee cup in the kitchen sink, against Tony's protests, and collected Tibbs before hurrying back to the lab now that your break was over.

"I don't know how you talked me into this" Jillian said as she came into your apartment after supper. You giggled as she took out her purse and started trying to fix her makeup as she followed you.
"It's just reading," you said with a grin.
"Yes, yes. Just reading" she said, making quotation marks with her fingers. "You already admitted Steve considers them dates" she said in a huff.
"Bathroom is over there" you pointed and she breezed past you. "Stop worrying so much. You see Sam once a week. It's just a chance to see him out of the work element" you called to her back.
"I'm just so nervous," she admitted as she fixed her makeup, looking in the mirror and critiquing her appearance closely.
"Like I said, I have a bunch of new books. There's bound to be something you'll want to borrow anyways" you said, trying to calm her nerves.
"How did you get me into this again?" she asked as she put on a fresh layer of lipstick.
"How did you get me to agree to going to a club?" you countered and she grumbled. "Come on, it's going to be fine" you said, trying to soothe her nerves again.
"Okay, I'm ready. Where's the books?" she asked and saw your bookshelves. "Oh, girl... this looks like candyland" she said coming over. She went through a few different options before she made her selection. You snapped Tibbs' leash and led her outside. You weren't a hundred percent sure that the boys would show up, but you had a feeling they would. Work had been hard today, but Steve came in just before supper looking just as good as he did in the morning and gave you a kiss on top of your head before explaining he was headed for a shower. It made you feel a little better knowing that he made it back safely, and his first instinct was to come and tell you he was safe.
You had even started making mission dockets for the following week, and sent them to Tony for approval today. You didn't choose who went on missions, you only pointed out how many people should be on the mission and the locations. You weren't confident to do much more than that yet. Tony seemed to appreciate that, and said he would handle the rest.
When you had been at supper and saw how good of a mood Jillian was, now that she could afford the new shoes she wanted, you couldn't help but invite her over again for reading. This time you also suggested that Sam would probably be there, and you had plenty for her to read. She tried turning you down, but you reminded her that you were going to the club with her and she finally gave in.
You both grabbed your books and you carried Tibbs outside and tied up his leash for him so he could move around easily. Jillian took the spot furthest from the door, while you took the spot closest, knowing that Steve would take the middle. The only thing you were curious about now, was where Sam would put his chair. You had a feeling it would be close to Jillian, you could feel it deep in your bones. You turned on some music and Lady A singing "Just a kiss" filled the air. You hummed to the song as it played and you both relaxed.
"Are you sure they are coming?" Jillian asked after a few minutes. You heard the boisterous laughter a moment later and you gave a look that said "I told you so". She wiped her sweaty palms on her jeans and pretended to be invested in her book. Tibbs started making a racket immediately and then the three men came into view.
"Good evening, dove" Steve grinned as he came over the railing. "Hello Jillian," he smiled.
"Hey beautiful" Sam said as he came over, his eyes on Jillian. It was clear he was in his own world as he got closer. He jumped over the railing and set down Bucky's chair near the door before going to the opposite end and setting up his chair near Jillian.
"Hello," Jillian said sweetly.
"Hey Tibbs!" Bucky said as he set up his chair.
"Nice to finally see you outside of work" Sam said softly to her, and Steve sat between the two of you. He moved in closer to you and wrapped his arm around your shoulders and kissed you on your temple.
"You never make it feel like I'm working when I get to see you" Jillian flirted with him and you could tell he was eating it right up.
"I try not to be too demanding," he chuckled. "So what are you reading tonight?" he asked, reaching out and looking at the cover of her book.
"It's one of Y/N's" she said, fluttering her eyelashes at him.
"I was wondering, what are you doing Friday?" Sam asked softly, while you pretended not to be completely invested in the conversation.
"Oh, we were going to go to a club" JIllian flushed.
"About that... I feel like I'm coming down with something. I might have to cancel" you immediately lied.
"I guess my night is open" she looked at him hopefully.
"What if I take you out for a drive?" Sam asked her and you saw her light up instantly.
"I'd love that" Jillian said with a broad smile.
"Good" Sam nodded, looking proud of himself.
"Matchmaker" Steve whispered into your hair and you giggled as you pretended to be reading.
"You need more female friends" Bucky sighed heavily and you burst out laughing.
