Delilah:
"Nick come on it's your last week of school you can't not speak to Quinn!"

Nick had been on the phone to his best friend who was giving him a hard time.

Nick:
"Hey come on you can't be on her side, she's the one not talking to me."

Delilah:
"Well if you'd actually tell me your side..."

Nick:
"Fine."

Flashback
Quinn stared at the creased card in her hand and then back at him confusion filling her gaze, "NYADA? Wh—Why do you have this?"
Nick shot forward panicking trying to take the card out of her hand, but she pulled it back, "Nick tell me, why do have this?"
"I—I..." He rubbed his neck awkwardly, "I was going to tell you."
"Tell me what?" She put her hand on her hip, a demanding demaounour taking over her that he'd not seen for quite some time.
He sat down, head in his hand realising he must've left the card in his suit trouser pocket from nationals. He loosened his tie and rubbed his clammy hands on his thighs, "The Nyada lady that they all bang on about she spoke to me told me I was a rare talent and shouldn't be wasting my life on hockey in so many words."
Quinn walks forward a fierce look in her eyes, "Why didn't you speak to me about this?"
He stands up his voice raising more than it was meant to, "Because... because I don't know why I didn't... she's thrown my whole plans around and I feel like Troy Bolton. I've always thought hockey was my future but maybe this has opened up doors I didn't think I was good enough to ever explore."
"And what about me... am I apart of your future?" Quinn states.
Nick lets out a small chuckles, but then sees the seriousness of her face, "Wait come on Quinn, of course you are." He tries to compose himself, not wanting this to get out of hand, "Look I didn't tell you because I was still deciding on whether I even wanted to audition. I don't know why this is such a big deal."
"It's a big deal because I feel like you don't think I'd support you in things like this. You only tell me when you have to or when I find out like this!" She points out, "How are we meant to last if I don't know where you're going or what you're doing?"
"Quinn come on this is ridiculous!" He goes to walk towards her. She turns and puts the card on the piano, "It's not ridiculous to me Nick."
She hurries out the door and down the corridor before Nick has a chance to react.
