All the students are hereby informed That all the classes for the next two days are cancelled because Mr. Gill is out of station and is unable to take classes

"Damn!" I saw the message and felt frustration eating me up

{My brain: "its okk! Bro lets study , lets get to work"}

I moved to my study table determined to study I played a YouTube video , 5 minutes into the video and i get distracted by the umbrella placed ( quite carefully) near my study table and start to rewind yesterday's events ,those eyes , that smile and those beautiful hair

"So that was today's topic guys don't forget to like, share,subscribe" i am back to reality by the voice of this irritating fellow on my laptop

"Not again !!!!" I thumped my palm on my table
{ My brain : now that's enough already!!!, its may be umteenth time you got distracted because of her , you know what !!!i wish i could just delete her from my database, so that you could focus on your studies}

I picked up my phone frustrated and dialled the the number of my only childhood friend khistijveer aka shit aka veer

Veer: hey sweetie!!! You must be studying as always

Jagjeet: "you know what , forget it"( he rolled his eyes already regretting his decision to call)

V: hey buddy sorry!!! What happened

J: "Um... One of my male classmates , i mean kind of friend actually got to know a girl, actually she fainted because of ....hot weather and he helped her but some misunderstandings brew between them after that interaction and he somehow managed to clear that , but after that interaction he can't get her out of his head and he's quite frustrated , he asked me for advice...."

V: so you..... i mean he is unable to concentrate on his study

J: "Yes"

V:And likes to talk to her , intrigued by her and , likes everything about her

J: "Bingo!!!" He exclaimed

V: You are doomed sweetie , you like her

J: "That's not me that's him"

V: O come'on give me a break ,you loner , "your friend's" name is jagjeet

J: .......

V: I am relieved, as i am already tired of being your friend ,brother &guide , i didn't want to be your bride

J: "Shut the heck up!!!bye"

The phone rang again and i already know veer is doing it on purpose to irritate me

"Damn !!!this jerk!!!" I mumbled irritated

The phone rang again and this time i agressively picked up the phone and before he could spew bullshit i said

J: "What's your problem !!! I don't like her , do you hear me ,I .don't .like. her." - I shouted to the full capacity of my vocal cords emphasizing each word

M: jagjeet

J: "mahi... Mahima iam sorry.... I was talking to my shitty childhood friend.... Umm ...not shitty...my friend so..."

M:Ha ha , o god!! Its okk

J: Her laugh is melody to my ears , i wish this laugh to always adorn my ears i thought to myself

My train of thoughts came to a halt when i heard the vroom of a bike passing by and some jerks calling names to....her
My hands balled into fists and my veins bulged up through my skin, anger clouded my mind , but then i calmed myself down and chanted her name through phone

J: "mahima calm down , listen to me , take deep breaths"

M : hmm i ...a..m..diz....zy

J: "mahima relax , hold it till i reach you, iam on my way ,tell me where are you"

M: Pa..r..k ne.. ar room ..metro

My legs start running to metro on their own accord while still talking to her on the phone

When i reached the said park , i saw her holding on to a bench , trembling frantically trying her best to calm herself down, i rushed to hold her in my arms and then put one hand under her knees, wrapped the other around her shoulders and picked her up

"Mahima where is your flat" she raised her hand towards a beige and brown multistorey bulding

"Which floor" i asked in a hurry

"Th...r"... She managed and after that her body went limp

The fear of unknown clutched my heart and reached her floor, luckyly the door was unlocked

I found 4 rooms when i entered , i was going insane , laid her on the bed of the only unlocked room, i knew its her room because of her photo on bedside table

"Where are the pills" , i uttered in frustration i made several futile attempts to find them, I gave up and sat on the chair next to bed and took her hand between palms to rub her hand ,but I found her burning with fever

"What should I do , what aahhhh !!!" I said to myself throwing a punch in air in sheer helplessness

"Cold water!!!" , i rushed to the bathroom and brought cold water and a hand towel and then put the wet towel on her forehead

5 hours later

3 am

I checked her temprature putting the back of my hand on her forehead

"Thank heavens !!!" her fever is gone ,but why is she not waking up" i entertained myself

I looked at her peaceful face, and realised that i am doomed

I like you , to the point of no return , i thought looking at her
Exhaustion took over me and i drifted to sleep.
