Jhooth ki aakhon mai sach khojte rahe

Khud hi dard ki dahleez par dastak dekar,

Zakhmon ka marham khojte rhe...

Ke nadan hi nikle hum bhi, auron ki tarah

Jo dhokhe k shahar mai m yakeen khojte rhe

Mahima's pov:

I woke up in the evening ,looked around for Jagjeet and couldn't find him (which I am actually glad about cause i was not ready to face him after sharing my darkest, deepest secrets) that's when I saw a note on the bed side table ,looking at it my heart filled with an unrecognisable feeling and my lips extended in the most beautiful smile line on their own accord

"Why I shared everything with him , the things that i didn't even share with my parents" I questioned myself

*Next morning*

"How are you gonna face him mahima" i asked my self

"Aggaiinnn!!!!" why the hell am i thinking about him constantly i uttered to myself with shear frustration

"Fine to maintain my sanity i'll ignore him"
My heart: but i wanna thank him specially for the note she thought smiling

"Not again !!! Why is this person living in my brain rent free"

"Ignore ......ignore" i repeated looking in the mirror with a newfound confidence

"So paper 2 the Indian philosophies has finished any doubts" the teacher asked

I was listening to the lecture but my brain was not in the mood to consume the knowledge because it's been two days since the classes restarted and someone is being unusually quiet after being so nice that day ,i subconsciously moved my eyes towards his Direction and caught him looking at me......with....with affection.. but then he turned his face and ignored me!!!

"Should i talk to him...no..if he doesn't care why should i care" i questioned my self

I then went out to a nearby outlet to have my lunch my hair being unmanageable due to sprinting of winds and my crop top not helping me either although its pretty but its being a bit uncomfortable

"Can i have vada and sambhar" i request the lady at the counter she put forth her professional smile and provided the food

I then paced towards the stand alone table and started having my lunch as the doubt session was gonna start in 25 minutes

"Can i eat here" the familiar face of a guy from the class appeared

I looked around "yeah sure why not" i confirmed with a ( not so genuine)smile

"It's interesting to see a girl eating vada without a spoon" he stated looking at my food

"How else do we eat it ? i think it tastes better this way" i replied as a matter of fact

"Agreed" he approved

"For a girl with a beautiful pink crop top , and a beautiful smile ,you are quite unusual and interesting" he said nonchalantly with a hint of mischief
