___________________________________________Jo ek baar milti hai , tum usi zindgi ki aamad ho
(If once we meet, you're life's precious gain,
In that one life, you're the sole refrain)Jo ek baar aati hai tum wahi kayamat ho
(You're my horizon, my boundless sky,
My every breath, my reason why.)Mera hi toh aksh ho tum , mujh hi parr inayat ho
(You mirror my love and disdain, in all the losses you are the gain)
Sukoon bhi ho zindgi ka , aur koi besukooni bhari gustak harqat ho
(You bring solace to life's turbulent sea,
And calm the restless waves of destiny)Ke lau ho kisi diye ki , ya roshni ka jhalar ho ,
Mere bejaan se makaan ki tum hi raunak ho(A flicker of light, a radiant beam,
Illuminating my darkened dream)Jakham bhi purana tumhi , tumhi toh marham
(You the wound of my heart, you are the reason for no scars)
Tum hi wajun ki wajah ,tum khuda e ibadat ho
(You are the reason for worship, you are the God I worship )
Tum hi khwahish pehli meri, tum hi aakhiri Mohabbat ho
(You're my first desire, my final creed,
My love, my everything, my heart's every need.)
___________________________________________Mahima's eyes locked onto Jagjeet's, her expression resolute. "We need to investigate this. Alert the team, Jagjeet. We have to raid those drug dens in Gurdaspur."
Concern etched Jagjeet's face , his scanning mahima's bandaged hands and bruised skin, "not now mahi, you need to rest"
Mahima:I'll rest when justice is served"
Jagjeet: "we'll do it mahi but first you are coming home with me"
Mahima's brows furrowed "jagjeet I-"
No arguments mahi , jagjeet interrupted his voice gentle. You not going anywhere alone, not in this condition. My home, my care, until you're healed"As Jagjeet helped Mahima stand, she winced, her fresh burns protesting the movement. Jagjeet's arms enveloped her, his touch gentle.
"We'll get through this together," he whispered, his lips brushing against hers.
Their kiss was brief, but electrifying.
At the hospital door, Mahima turned to Anisha, who was observing their exchange with a mix of curiosity and concern.
"Ani, I have to go," Mahima said, quickly briefing her on the situation.
Anisha's eyes narrowed. "You're going with him?" She glanced at Jagjeet, her gaze piercing.
Mahima nodded. "I have to. We need to take down these drug peddlers."
Anisha's expression softened. "Be careful, Mahi. Jagjeet, if anything happens to her..." Her voice trailed off, the warning clear.
Jagjeet's hands rose in a placating gesture. "I'll protect her with my life, Anisha."
As Mahima left with Jagjeet, Anisha's gaze lingered on Karan, who was watching the exchange with interest.
"Hey, Ani," Karan said, his voice low and smooth. "How about a coffee? We can discuss the case."
Anisha's cheeks flushed, but she smiled. "You're pushing your luck, Karan."
