Y/n's pov:

The sun was shining like gold. Little wind blowing my hair, it was really good day. I was walking on the streets full of people doing their own business. It was quite lively. I just arrived in konoha and so far I was liking this place. Now I gotta meet with hokage but I don't have slightest idea where was hokage building. I'll have to ask someone. Maybe some shinobi, they will tell me direction.

I gotta admit I was really bad with directions. I turned around the corner and something more like someone crashed into me causing to me land on my butt. Ohh god, it's gonna hurt.

"Ahh I'm sorry. I was in a little hurry,so I didn't watch where I was going." I looked up. It was a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. His eyes were so pure and like ocean. I just want to drown in them. He had whiskers on his cheeks. I just want to squeeze his face. I was pulled out of my fantasies with a wave in front of my face. The boy extended his hands. I took his hand and straightened myself.

"Ahh it's alright. You don't have to worry" I said dusting my dress. The boy was staring at me, so I decided to talk to him.

"You seemed to be in hurry. Where you perhaps running away from someone." he then realized that he was just standing here.

"Ohh yeah. I gotta hide." he looked panicked all of sudden. He then started running while shouting.

"Again I'm sorry. I would have chatted with you but right now I really gotta go" he started running while shouting.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki. The future hokage. I hope we will meet again" he bumped in a lady as he was not looking in frony of him. He didn't stop, he just apologized while running. The lady started shouting at him rather voilently. I see he is not welcomed in his own village.

Just on cue, some shinobi came running while shouting.

"Heyy you brat, today you are not gonna get away." this is rather chaotic.

I gotta find my way. I saw a man wearing jonin jacket with a senbon needle in his mouth. He looked friendly too. That's it, I'm gonna ask him.

"Um Excuse me, do you happen to know the way to hokage's building?!" I asked him. He looked at me, analyzing me before answering.

"Yeah, first take left from there and then take third right you see" he was ponting toward the street. First Left then third right. First left then third right. First right then third left. Uhh this is so coplicated.

I repeated directions while walking toward the turn after thanking him. I have to turn right, right?!.

I turned right and started walking when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see the one I asked directions from looking at me.
"I suppose yoh are not good with directions. Don't worry I will escort you" he said smiling. I was embarrased but accepted his help.

"So what's your name, little flower?" he said looking at me while walking.

"My name is L/n Y/n. And I'm not that little." i said huffing. He just laughed.

"What's your name, old man" I said with mischeive."The name's Genma and i'm not an old man" he said sounding irritated. Haa got you.

"Sure whatever you say" i was snickering. He didn't looked too much happy about that.
" You know, I heard that l/n clan is smartest. I might change my perspective". He wanted to get under my skin but it won't be that easy.

"You know, it takes a jweller to identify the diamond. Common person will just throw it away thinking it is a stone" i replied looking forward without looking at him.

I expected another rude comment but instead I just got a laugh.
"Haha now I know why they call l/n clan the wisest. Anyway we are here." he knocked on the door and got a faint come in as reply. We entered the room and there was an old man seated in the bundle of papers. Hokage sure is a busy man.

"Lord hokage, I bought you a visiter" genma said after bowing down to hokage. "Hmm you are dismissed." hokage just dismissed him. He turned to me and said
"It was my pleasure to meet you. Hope we will meet again" and with that he left. I turned to hokage and strightened myself.

"My greetings to lord hokage. I'm L/n Y/n. I beleive you were informed of my arrival before" I bowed to him and looked up at him. He was smiling.

"Indeed I was. We welcome you in the village. I was told that you will enroll in academy here. Though it's almost exam time but I beleive you will pass with flying grades with some help." the old man is actually quite good.

"I'm not worthy of your praise though I really appriciate your help" he let out a light chuckle.
"You don't need to be so formal. Call me gramps. Here is your appartment key and some allowance till you start doing missions. I have high expectance from you though I know you do work differently. From tommorow you can start the academy. I will have someone escort you there. Be ready and please try to cause less trouble" he said giving me a smile. The old man know his way with words.

"I won't let you down. I think they already told you about me. Actually I expected them to do that. Anyways I will take my leave then gramps. Have a good day." I bowed slightly and left the room.

Nobody's pov:

After Y/n left, third hokage let out a small chuckle. "She changed her attitude in just a second. Haha she knows her way with words and have intelligence to climb ranks." I hope she will be guided right" he sat down looking at her profile. "We will have to protect her at all costs." he said seriously.

Back to your pov:

After getting lost for I don't know thousand's time I was about to give up when i saw that boy i met earlier hiding in a bush.
' he is still hiding. It's almost night time. Oh yeah I will just ask him.'

I silently got behind him and said "Still hiding from someone, naruto?" he turned around shock clearly visible on his face. He calmed down as soon as he saw my face.

"Ohh it's just you. What are you doing here?" he asked me. His face was red. Is he ill?.

"ohb I was just looking for this address can you show me where it is?!" i asked him showing my address that I recently got from hokage.

"ohh yeah I know this place " he said.
"really?! Alright let's go." I grabbed his hand hand and started walking.

"You are going in wrong direction" he said. His voice a little bit shaky.
"ohh sorry. You walk first" i said letting his hand go. He started walking and in no time we were in front of mt apartment. I turned around facing him.

"Thank you for showing me the way." his face was still red.

"Are you alright?! Your face is all red" he started waving his hands in front of him.

"ohh yeah. I'm all right. You don't need to worry. Anyways I gotta go now" with that he started running but he stopped in middle turing around.

"You didn't tell me your name." he asked me.Ohh I completely forgot to tell him my name.

"Ohh I'm L/n Y/n . You can call me y/n after all we are friends right." he just standed there frozen. Did I said something wrong?
"You don't have to be my friend if you don't want-" i was cutt off by him in middle.

"NO, I want to be your friend, y/n chan." he looked overly happy.

"ohk Naruto. We will meet tommorow them. Go home safely" i waved at him and be left smiling brightly. His smile was so bright. Just like a ball of sunshine. I look forward to meet him again.
