Rock lee v/s gaara

Y/n's pov:

After my declaration of wanting a match with neji, naruto also challenged him for the honour of hinata. I really think their story is soo cute. Hinata having a secret crush on naruto that everyone knows of except him.

And him protecting her honour by challenging his genius cousin.

I was about to say something again when I was interrupted by someone by dragging me by the my cloak. It was none other then aya.

"Don't go around challenging people for battle, you fool. You should just law low right now." he dragged me while scolding me. I was so done with his behaviour that I didn't even tried to protest this time.

We arrived at our previous position but I didn't sit this time. To be honest, my hips were hurting from siting on that thing soo long. I stood while leaning forward.

Now things were getting intense. The only genins left for the matches are gaara, lee, choji and zaku.

The screen again showed the names. Everyone was intensely watching. The names that appeared in the end are of lee and gaara.

My mind again went blank. The surroundings around me started to change. I could again watch scenes playing infront of me. I couldn't an inch even if I used all my strength.

I was brought back into reality by lee and guy sensei's loud cheering. They were looking so happy. They were the most happy and cherry people in the room. They both were unique. If only they knew....

I couldn't bear just standing and watching. Everyone's attention was on lee right now because everyone knew what it means to fight gaara.

" Pain and suffering both awaits,

The one who enters the forbidden gate,

I smiled at lee who was still confused about my words but guy sensei know what it mean. And as expected lee only focused on good part.

"Thankyou y/n-chan, I will definitely win. I also want to fight you." he gave me his famous smile and a thumbs up.

I looked at guy sensei. He seem deep in the thoughts for now. I went to back beside aya to watch the fight.

Gaara immediately turned into sand and reappeared in the arena to battle. Lee also jumped down. So that's how it is. I looked at guy sensei who was watching lee with admiration in his eyes. I know where he is coming from.

"So he is gonna lose in a painful way huh." kakashi stood beside me also looking down. For a minute I didn't answered.

"Who knows?" I shrugged my shoulders like I wasn't the one who gave indirect warning to lee.

The match started with lee trying to land a hit on gaara but gaara's sand was protecting him. Gaara's defence was on other level.

Lee's moves were fast but he was not able to pass through gaara's sand. After trying to fight gaara, he jumped on the statue's fingures.

"Lee you can take them off." guy sensei approved of something while smiling at lee. So he got some trick up in his sleeves huh!

Lee looked really happy after listening to guy sensei's approval. He took off the orange socks like things. He was fighting with weights this whole time while his opponent was gaara of the sand? Unbelievable.
