Y/n's POV:

" I am eagerly waiting for the day we will meet again and that time I won't let you get away easily, kitten"

He said as he completely disappeared. He kept staring at me and ryukki till the moment he disappeared. His words keep ringing in my mind.

"Y/n, are you alright?" ryukki's soft and tender voice was something you don't get to hear often. His sweet caring voice was like that nostalgic summer afternoon. My heart melted then and there by hearing his voice.

"Yes. I am now thanks to you." I smiled warmly at him as I wrapped my arms around his neck to support my body. A pink hue was visible on my face as I rested my head on his shoulder. I can't describe in words how thankful I am to ryukki right now. If he hadn't come then I would have spend my whole morning there waiting for my body to recover so that I can move.

"Y/n, what happened back there?" this was gonna come sooner or later. I took a deep breath before answering.

"I was training when something went wrong." I don't like to lie to him. But this situation was something where I was forced to. Who would believe that I just fought a ghost who almost killed me and they can't see that ghost.

"So that something make those marks on your neck huh!" his tone sounded sad as he looked toward my neck where finger marks were clearly visible.

'Oh shit, I didn't thought about these marks'

"Umm wellll you see...." I couldn't help but snuggle my face more in his shoulder as I couldn't meet his eyes. I expected a disappointed remark from him but instead I was awarded with a light chuckle.

"hahaha it's alright you don't need to be this embarrassed. I know you had your own reasons to not tell me this. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to." what good deeds did I do in my previous life to have someone as understanding as him? He is definitely an angle in disguise of a human. 

" I would really appreciate that." I mumbled under my breath. Ryukki carried the whole way not that I complain about it. I was rather enjoying my royal ride.

"Umm ryukki, where are we?" we were standing in front of a house that I didn't recognised.

"Ohh yeah you have never been here before. This is my house." he said as he entered the door.

His house was warm and cozy. It's interior designs were light and soft, giving a warm touch. It was completely opposite of ryukki's personality.

"Well my late mother decorated this house that's why it's like this." he never talks about his family.

"Oh sorry to hear that.." I said a little awkwardly. But ryukki lightened the mood instantly as dropped me on tye bed gently.

"Just wait here okay?." he said as he exited the room. I looked around the room. The whole room can be described in two words, simple and just enough. It was so clean that it was almost looking empty.

As I was looking around, he came back with a box.

"Alright. Show me your wounds, I will treat them." he said holding some ointment.

"Umm I can't move." I muttered slowly. It was really embarrassing.

"Ohh sorry. It's my fault, I forgot." he said waving his hands in front of his face as embarrassed as me.

"May I?" he said holding my hand gently. I nodded quietly.

He slided my long sleeve up. It was a simple act yet it was feeling something else.

He slowly applied the medicine and trust me when I say it hurted like hell.

"Sorry it's gonna burn for a little bit." he applied with as tenderness as possible. Now I am really regretting using that forbidden technique to attack madara.
