Y/n's pov:

After taking earth scroll from them, now I have both scrolls that are needed. I just need some safe place. I wondered around for an hour. My body was shutting down. I need to rest right now.

The trees around here have deep branches. I could stay inside. I picked a tree not far away from stream. I climbed higher up and saw a big hole in the branch. Perfect.

But I need to make sure that no snake lives inside it. I poked inside the hole with a branch. Nothing.

I poked around for a bit and when I got no response, I peeked inside. Nothing is there. With that I set my things down and treated my injuries first.

After I was done, I layed down on my arms. I wonder, how naruto and others are doing. With that, I closed my eyes and took much needed rest.

I was woken up by an explosion nearby. I immediately went on my guard. I need to hide my scrolls first.

I looked around for something, I saw an injured eagle that was being attacked by vultures. I hate vultures. That's why, I picked a tree branch and throwed it on them. The eagle was quivering in pain. It reminded me of myself when I was fighting with zabuza. I tried to pick it up from the branch but it tried to attack me instead.

I again tried to pick it up, but this time a lot more slowly. He let out a loud shriek but I got him inside my temporary hideout. It had a scar running down it's eye that was still bleeding. I guess we are not the only one trying to survive here.

I pulled my sealing scroll out and unrolled it. It had a medical kit in it. I put some ointment on the eagle. It again let out a loud shriek but soon calmed down. I poured some water in his mouth. He drank it silently. I guess he doesn't consider me threat anymore.

I smiled to myself at that thought. Eagles are the sign of my clan. I guess it's good to have company, who would want to be alone for five days. I slowly glided my hand over his feathers. He was pretty much enjoying the touch.

After some time, he started to move around. I should name him.

"Hey do you want a name?" I must be out of my mind to ask that. But to my surprise, he rubbed his beak on my arm. I let out a chuckle. He is so cute.

"I'll take that as a yes. Hmm what should I name you?" I looked at him. He looks stronger then other normal eagles. And he is healing faster then expected.

"Hmm how about kenta?" He flapped his wings and jumped into my lap. I laughed and petted his head. Who would expect, I would get a ninken here. Though it is not dog, but I'll train him also. That's to if he wants to stay with me.

Huh, should I move toward tower? It's early and safe to do so now. Later, other teams who didn't received the scroll, will camp there.

"Kenta?" the said eagle jumped from my lap and flapped his wings at the enterence of the hideout.

"Are you calling me?" I crawled toward him and when I was beside him, he jumped outside. His sudden action make me panic. I got ready to jump out and catch him.

"Kenta.!" but to my surprise, rather then falling, he flapped his wings and took off in the blue sky. I was so happy. He was flyong again and that to so soon after getting treated.

I jumped out of the hole in happiness and chased after him and he flew with his face toward me. He occasionally flapped his wings at my head mocking me.

"What? Are you mocking me. Wait till I get you." He dived downward the tree and I followed him down.

"Haha How long will you run huh?"we arrived at the river. He flew over the shining blue water. He was looking majestic. I also stepped into the river using my chakra to walk over it.
