Y/n's pov:

After yesterday's test, my whole body was tired. I haven't healed from my battle with toshi and ryukki, and I had to fight aya sensei too. I remembered the seen when I got cought. It was still as much embarrassing as before. Let's forget that.

I can't forget that. The sky was cloudy today. Why not just relax under shaded. With that thought in my mind, I arrived at the ground but someone was already there. I guess I'm not the only one trying to relax.

I just silently lied beside shikamaru keeping a decent space between us. He looked at me tilting his head toward me.

"Hello there. I pretty much expected you here" I was not surprised to see him here of all the places.

"And yet you still came here." he muttered under his breath.

"Well yeah. You aren't that bothersome. I enjoy your company." I admitted. He was a nice person if we put his laziness aside. He is smart but doesn't show off unlike someone.

"Well I also enjoy your company, afterall you are not like those crazy fangirls."

"I am honoured to receive praise from the prodigy, Lord shikamaru himself." I said in a sarcastic way in a heavy tone. I let out a laugh afterward.

"What a drag." he muttered under his breath. He turned away his face from me. I had no idea that his face was covered in pink tint.

"You know sometimes I am really jealous of clouds." shikamaru's voice broke the peacefull silence between us.

"And why is that? Mind enlightening me?" I was now curious. The nara infront of me, who just want to sleep his whole, was opening up to me.

"I can just float whole day without having to worry about things." so he was just talking about his laziness.

"But I'm afraid that I'll became the darkness into someone's life" I looked at him. He was looking up with a distant look into his eyes. He was son of head of the clan. They are someone respected in my clan highly.

Shikamaru also has the same intelligence. He is bound to rise up ranks. In future, he will have to take decisions that will destroy someone else's life.

" A beautiful sunset needs the cloudy sky. Not all clouds come to bring darkness. Some comes to make your sunset beautifull. That's why, I try to be rainbow in someone else's cloud." After a moment to silense, I replied to his hidden question. I turned to look at him but he was already looking at me.

"Healer of heart huh. That name suits you very well."

"Well I like to live up to my name." I let out a light chuckle. After that we just laid there in silence watching the clouds float in the blue sky. I live for moments like this.

The wind was making leaves of tree play a peacefull mealody. The birds were singing in sync to make the song more beautifull. I didn't realized when I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Unkown to me a certain nara pulled me into his chest, smiling to himself.

" I was fine in darkness. But your light made me want to come out. Thank you, y/n." he whispered and then fell asleep.

When I woke up, It was almost time for sunset. I was feeling comfortably warm despite the cold wind. I tried to move but something was weighting me down. Suddenly a familiar scent hit my nose. I looked up only to find that it was shikamaru who was holding me to his chest. My face then and there busted into 50 shades of red. I tried to move but was stopped by a grunt.

"Ahh don't move around like that." his voice was sleepy and heavy. After that I didn't dare to move around.
