Stood on the steps, are Beth, she is wearing a beautiful dress and her hair is curled and looks neat. Her husband looks smart, although has a slight bend to him, showing that he is still not fight ready.

Starring at her I realised that she is my Beth, one of my closes friends and someone I have been searching for, for a long time. As the horses come to a stop, I throw myself of, her eyes stare into me, as I rush towards her. The two of us embrace in a tight hug, the tears falling from both of our eyes, she is a piece of home. "Z" She states as I nod my head that is resting against her chest.

"I thought you where dead." She cries as she pulls me away, looking at me up down. "And not a single scratch on you." She laughs as I nod my head.

Targriss coughs loudly pulling the both of us away from our reuion, as we both go silent. "Thank you for coming General." Beth states stepping forward and bowing her head to show respect. "We are greatful for your arrivial." A man steps forward one that I have not met before and I can only assume that this is Vexorin that she writes about in her letters.

"Vexorin." He states as he nods his head towards the warrior who stepped forward. "I can see that you have held down the fort in (Nates name) times of weakness."

"Indeed I have general."

"Good." Targriss continues. "We have much to discuss. Gather the council. I want a full report on the current situation." He demands to Vexorin

"Of course General." He states as the two mem departs heading inside one of the cabins.

The servants start to unload the cattle, heading towards the tents that already have women cooking and sewing in them. My friend slithers herself of the horse stumbling slightly before regaining her balance and assisting her fellow workers. I cannot help but feel bad.

Me and beth stare at one enough for a while before we break the silence. "I cannot believe you are alive. I told the General to write if he was to encounter with you again." She states as I smile.

"I only joined the camp a week ago. In fact the only reason I entered was to try and locate you." I state as she smiles sweatlly. "What about Ivy, do you know where she is. Is she alive?" I ask my heart thumping. Beth pauses for a moment and I can sense that she is debating what to tell me.

"She is alive, however she left her station in the camp."

"What do you mean?"

"She ran away, we tried to trace her, but to no avail. We believe that she may be in the city."

"Why would she do that. It is to unsafe for her." I sate knowing that the aliens will eat her alive being the only human that roams their main city.

"There where many reasons why she left. And although I get mates name to get men to track her, I think she will only sin again." Beth sates sighing. "I hope for her sake that she is safe."

The two of us stay in silence again as the camp is loud with people working and running around, fires are being lit and food is being cooked. As the noise of the camp swirls around us, I can't shake the worry gnawing at my gut. Ivy's disappearance hangs heavy in the air, casting a shadow over our long-awaited reunion. Beth's troubled expression mirrors my own concerns, and for a moment, we stand in solidarity, united by our shared apprehension.

"We need to find her," I say, my voice firm with determination. "Ivy may have her reasons, but she's out there alone, and we can't leave her to fend for herself."

Beth places a comforting hand on my shoulder, her eyes conveying understanding. "I know you're worried, but Ivy is headstrong. She made this decision for a reason, and we have to trust that she knows what's best for herself."
