"I will take her back to my tent."

My head is pounding with pain, and the sunlight makes my eyes sting. Pain takes over every thought in my mind so much so that I do not pay any attention to everyone starring at the sight of Tygriss carrying me into his tent. He lays me on the thick animal fur, as a servant rushes in with a platter of different food and drinks laying them on the table.

My stomach is empty yet I have not feelings of hunger. Instead I lay on my back starring at the high ceiling of the tent. "Eat." He demands I feel him watching over me. Slugglishly I manage to sit up, taking a small sip of the water to rehydrate my thirst before nibbling at some of the bread that hads been palaced on the table.

It tastes good and only encourages me to eat more, as I tuck into the soup. Before long the food was gone my stomach no longer empty and the feeling of weakness had vanished. "Bring her more food." He demands to the servant.

"No no I am fine." I state as she leaves the room following his orders.

"The healer said that you must eat more." He states as I shake my head not wanting to anger the large alien anymore then I already have done.

"I am fine I must return back to my jobs." I state as I stand from my feet, brushing down my dress. I felt slightly whoozy however I knew it will vanish in a moment.

"You will do no such thing. You are to rest until you are better." I could sense that he was becoming more agitated and although I had regained my strength to stand, I doubt I would be able to run away from him. The servant returned back with food replacing the old tray with fresh fruits and berries as well before leaving. Another women returned moments later scowlling at me as she filled the tub, I seat myself back on the furs waiting for her to leave before I ask the question that has been burning into my mind.

Tygriss seats himself, tearing open a letter that had been left on his desk. His face frowned as he read the message before throwing it back on the desk in disgust. "Can I ask you a question?" I state as I cross my legs the robe revealing some of my skin.

"What?" He asks and tempting makes me want to raise my eyes to look at him, however I know I have not gained this privilege yet.

"Do you know if Beth and Ivy are alive?" I ask praying that something positive comes out of his mouth. I hope the women are right, and that Lady Beth is my friend.

"No." He snaps back blunt and short.

"No as In you don't know, or no as in they are not alive." I ask as I flicker my eyes to his body, not wanting to look him in the eyes as I know that I have not earned this privilege.

"I don't know women." He snaps making me close my mouth, she clearly is not Lady Beth (insert her partners name) was his right hand man he knows who she is.

"So where is (her mates name)?" I ask pushing my luck. Clearly a bit to far, as Tygriss stands from his seat,

"I said I do not know." He snaps as he leaves the tent, I sit there for a while and I can hear his loud booms of anger as he starts training the men. It was not until night fell, did the training end. Rain had started pouring down, and he was soaking wet when he returned. He did not even acknowledge my existence when he returned back, instead stripped completely nude and climbed into the tub to soak his muscles.

The silence nibbled at me, I hate silence always have and always will. It means something is wrong. In our house silence meant someone was arguing. I wanted to brake the silence but knew all to well that I had pushed the boundaries.

A memory faded into my mind, I was only young. My father had been at the office all day working, his face was red and he seemed angry. I had come downstairs to say goodnight like I did most nights, and so I was perched on top of the stairs. Mother was asleep and the house was messy from the events of the day. He was so angry that pulled her from the sofa, slapping her in the face, swearing at her. There was silence in the house for many days, until mother gave in and pretended like noting had happened.

"What a horrible man." Targriss states as I stare at him catching him the eye, before droppingmy gaze.

"What did you say?" I asked shocked thinking I was speaking aloud.

"I said what a horrible day." He says as I try and clear my mind. That fall must have damaged my hearing or maybe I was day dreaming to heavy. Regardless I am confused why he is stricking up and conversation about the weather.

"Yes I overheard the women saying it is meant to be a storm." I state as he grumbles.

"Indeed it is. Exactly what we need right now." I raise my eyebrows sensing the sarcasm in his voice. "You are lucky you entered the camp when you did. The storm would have killed you." He states.

"I survived an entire year, by myself." I lie, knowing that the witch was the real reason I stayed alive.

"Where did you go?" He asks as I lock eyes with him again, I am not good with this whole thing.

"I lived in the forest." I stated as he shook his head.

"Bullshit, for 12 Serenthian months my men where out searching for you. Not one trace of you."

"I am good at hiding."

"Phft for some reason I find that unlikely."

"Well I hid from you a year."

"With help."

"With no help."

"Bullshit someone was helping you hide, so which man was it? I will have their head on a stick by tomorrow."

"Like I told you no one."

"You are untrust worthy." He states as he climbs out the bath walking towards his wardrobe where his clothes hang all neatly. I have one piece of clothing, and it is thin and wore in different areas. New tears have appeared on my dress since falling over. The witch had taught me how to stitch and sew, and I am sure that the women have a spare needle and thread to help fix my dress. I decide to ask them, standing up I can feel Tygriss watching me. "Where are you going?" He demands as I stare at the floor.

"I need to fetch something from my tent" I state as he does not respond. I assume that he is okay with that as I leave the room hurridly. On my return he does not bat a eyelid as I seat myself back by on the fur, one of the servants enter the room lighting the fire for him before leaving again. I start stitching at the holes in the dress, pintching myself with the needle a few times, ouch I complain causing Tygriss to look however he returns back to his work almost instatnly.

After many hours and my eyes becoming heavy, I decide to call it a day. Although I am good at sewing it takes me a long time and there is still another hole that I will have to attend to tommorow. I lay on the furs, the fire making me warm and my eyes feeling heavy. It is not long before I fall into a deep sleep.
