Earth has been home to humans for thousands of years. Yet, the question of whether aliens exist in the solar system has always lingered. That was until recently when aliens graced our planet with a proposition. In exchange for a collection of our female women, aliens would give to us protection and allow for us to be allies, when the other planets inevitably attack.
The government traded 10,000 women in exchange for 1 alien species and enteral protection.
But the 10,000 women where not picked randomly, instead the aliens hand picked each and everyone making sure that they where best fitted for the mission in which they where about to embark on. And I unfortunately was one of the ones picked...
Riots broke out on every street, every road and every location know, all in an attempt to prevent our species being sold for protection. Every building owned by members of the government where smashed to pieces, the police headquarters across England where burnt to the ground, and the message we where trying to send to other countries was blocked from every reaching them. Military trucks packed full of armed soldiers where sent to de escalate the situation, tear gas coated every individual and those that tried to attack them, where shot dead on orders of the government. Women that received the letter threw themselves from buildings in protest, but new letters where simply sent out to new women to take their place.
My father, an older man in his sixties, has been part of the government for over 25 years. He dedicated his life to the job, as well as his marriage and children. My mother stayed with him for us children, and for my youngest brother so he does not have to grow up in a broken home. He forced me not to riot, in fact he begged us all to not get involved but what is worse is that he did not even shown an inch of expression when I was picked to go onboard the ship.
My mother was distraught and spent her days crying in her bedroom accompanied with a bottle of wine. I heard her begging my father to do something, to stop them taking me, but he refused. My father was no where to be seen when I bid my final goodbyes to my family.
No one was told a location, or a time when they would be brought to the ship, instead a black car accompanied by armed military officers turned up. They did not utter a word, instead threw me in the back with other women from my area all that had the same stone cold expression. Everyone was young, no older than twenty two.
Now everything is going to change, the house that I once called home, will become a distant memory. My family will just become the picture I look at each night before I fall asleep. My friends will become a thing of the past. And there is nothing that I can do to change that.
The black van door opens with a click, as a firm military stands at the exit. "Get out." He states roughly as he grasps the gun tighter in his hand, warning us that if we refuse he will shoot. Slowly the women start picking up their bags, wrapping their coats tighter around their body as the cold winter wind drifts into the car. I meekly follow behind my hair floating in the wind, reminding me that I should have tied it up. As the outside light reaches my eyes, I realise they have delivered us to the military base, thick barb wire fences trap the hoards of women that have been dropped here previously.
The military runway stretches out before me, a desolate expanse of concrete shrouded in an eerie silence. The main attraction stands firm in front of me, a silver alien spaceship, a sleek grey colour coats the metal and the contours of the ship gleam under the harsh glare of the floodlights. It towers over us casting an imposing shadow that stretches across the runway. I join the huddle of women, all teary eyed and frightened as I pull my thick black coat tighter around my body.
A screech echo's through the open air, as my eyes glance to the stage locate at the bottom of the space ship stairs. Three aliens enter the stage, each one 7ft tall, with bulging muscles and tattoos that scatters the skin on their body. They have scars that covered their arms and body, but they wear them proudly showing that they had protected their planet. Their skin was just like ours, the only difference being their eyes, so similar in shape yet so different in colour. They where jet black, they scan over the women like hungry wolves about to devour their dinner. Some of the women started crying at the sight of them hugging one enough, whilst I stood emotionless.
