It was a very very drunken night. Julian was still grieving after Kaia left him and he was drinking one bottle after another. Somehow he was able to get home and as soon as he reached the door he passed out. He was still crying and calling out Kaia's name from time to time.

The next morning Julian woke up on his bed. He could feel the sun hitting his closed eyes and thought since when did he opened the curtains.

When he finally forced himself to open his eyes, he was staring at a blue ceiling.

Huh? That's odd. His ceiling was white he thought.

The headache he was expecting didn't happen at all. He felt fine and in fact he felt more healthy. He looked around to see where he was. A familiar yet unfamiliar room. He suddenly realised where he was. This was his old room back at the Ardino mansion.

He leaped out of his bed and started inspecting the room. It really was his old room. When he finally came across the mirror he saw himself. He was different. It was still him but he looked younger. Not in his late 20s he looked like he was in his teens.

A knock came from the door and he hears Bailey's voice.

Bailey - Young Master Julian breakfast is ready. You don't wanna be late for school right?

Julian hurriedly opened the door and saw Bailey.

J - Bailey! What year is it?!

Bailey was suprised by this sudden burst of energy and replied the answer.

He really came back in the past Julian realised. Right now he was in his second year. He may have already met Yui but he'll know once he go to school. He was getting excited. This was God giving him a chance. A chance to make things right with Kaia.

He happily went to school. And he was right. He and Yui already met but they haven't started dating yet so this was a good sign. He could feel Yui's gaze on him but right now he only felt disgusted and ignored it.

After school i should go meet Kaia he thought. When it was time for lunch break Yui came to him. Right now he was still the bright and innocent kid. But Julian had other plans, if this is God giving him a chance then he's going to get everything right with Kaia.

Yui - Julian let's go.

You could see a hint of blush on the boy's cheeks but Julian now devoid of his love for him replied in a neutral tone.

J - Um.

They haven't dated yet so it's better to end things sooner than later.

To Yui this was new. Julian wasn't like as usual so he got a strange feeling that something was wrong but he decided to let it go since Julian was already walking away to the canteen. He'll confess later he thought.

Throughout lunch Julian was on his phone. Ignoring Yui who was eating next to him. He was searching for Kaia on any social platform. He didn't find anything at all.

Well he expected it, he was Kaia afterall. He did a lot of scrolling until finally a username popped up on the search page with KaiaLee0. It wasn't any social media platform but from a gaming account. This person just commented once on the game's forum  and that's all.

Julian was a bit spektical but he went on the game's website. It was just some mmorpg game. Without further thoughts he downloaded it and made a gaming account.

Yui - What are you doing?

He asked as he lean on Julian's shoulder to take a peek.

Julian moved away a bit and indifferently said, "Nothing"

After school was over he immediately left without waiting for Yui. He just couldn't wait at the thought of meeting Kaia again. So he hurriedly ran away.

Akerian who came to their class saw him run away and thought this was weird. His so called "little brother" was always by Yui's side guarding him but he just left today without a thought.

A - Oh Yuiii since Julian left I'll walk you home.

Yui - ugh!

Julian stood in front of Lee's bakery as he try to catch his breadth after running a long way. There was still some freshly baked smell coming from inside so there must be someone. He nervously walked in and looked around.

"Welcome." An elderly woman's voice greeted him. She had wrinkles around her eyes but she still looked good. With a face resembling Kaia's Julian realised she was his mother. That's right when Julian met Kaia in his previous life both Mr and Mrs Lee were dead. So this was their first time meeting.

I should treat my future mother-in-law well he thought.
