The next day, Akerian was once again at the doorstep of Julian's apartment. He rang the doorbell once, actually he specifically picked the time when both Yui and Julian might not be home and came. Kaia told him about the spare key under the plant next to the door but to his disappointment someone was home and the door opened.

He really had no luck cause Julian was the one who opened the door. Seeing each other the two immediately knew that this was not going to end well. Julian didn't invite him in and just gave him a cold stare.

A - Well.... Aren't you gonna invite your dear brother in?

Julian didn't say anything but Akerian could tell that that wasn't gonna happen. It seems as though this person who answered the door seems to be in a bad mood. His eyes had dark circles and he looked tired. But Akerian doesn't care.

A - Hey let me in. I've got work to do.

Julian raised an eyebrow and finally opened his mouth.

J - What work do you have in someone else's home?

A - Oh please it won't take long I'm sure you're more busier than I am.

Julian remained unmoving.

A - I'm just here to get some stuff, now move.

J - Prey tell, what things of yours  we have here.

Akerian didn't wanna say it but now it felt like he had no choice.

A - I'm.... Just here to get Kaia's stuffs okay? Now move.

With that said he pushed passed Julian and went inside.

When Julian heard what he said he froze for a moment but quickly recovered and blocked Akerian in his path. His eyes were glaring daggers now. The latter expected this reaction but he made up his mind to get Kaia's things one way or the other.

J - repeat what did you just say?

A - didn't know my younger brother was deaf. I said I'm here to get Kaia his things.

Julian clenched his teeth and fists he was ready to beat the hell out of this guy but restrain himself.

J - And who are you to do that?

A - oh I'm the one Kaia asked to get his belongings from here. Satisfied?

Julian felt bitter and angry. He hasn't been able to contact Kaia and now this guys shows up to get his belongings. Before he could calm down he was already grabbing Akerian shirt by the collar.

J - Where is he?

Now this made Akerian amused. He now knows that Kaia didn't even contact Julian so in his heart he was happy and with a smug face he said,

A - Oh he didn't call you? That's strange he's been calling me since yesterday. We had a looong talk.

Although this was partly true Akerian just wanted to show off and he felt superior. But that was short lived as he felt a fist on his face.

Julian who was so angry wasn't able to control himself and just punched Akerian. The latter was pushed back from the impact and was staggering a bit. And so a fight broke out between the two brothers.

A - You *****!

The two kept throwing punches and kicks back and forth. Julian didn't utter a word while the other one was cussing. The sound of pain came from both the men.

A - Did you know..... ( He said as fell on the ground in the living room while Julian was trying to kick him)..... Kaia was also kidnapped alongside Yui?

Julian immediately stopped and a look of horror crepped in. He had a hunch but since Yui said he was alone he believed him. And now everything was breaking apart.

A - I bet you didn't. I bet you believed what you little lover said.....

J - Shut up!

Julian stepped back a bit and was struggling to stand. He couldn't lift up his face and just stared at the ground realising what he has done. But Akerian wasn't gonna stop there, he was gonna make Julian feel like shit for leaving Kaia. He realised that to Julian, Kaia was someone that shouldn't be removed from his side. Someone that he always needs even though the latter doesn't do anything. Akerian just doesn't know whether Julian loved Kaia or not but one thing was for sure what he's going to say will hurt Julian.

A - my dear brother did you know when you came to rescue Yui, Kaia was also waiting for you to rescue him? In the end you left him behind.

J - i said shut up!

The room went silent for a while and only the sound of them trying to catch their breaths after the fight filled the air.

After a while Akerian got up and made his way towards Kaia's room without a word, the one upstairs at the far end just as he described and Julian...... He couldn't stop him, he knew Kaia must've hate him for sure. He knew why Kaia didn't reach out to him. He could only stood by the Akerian left with just one suitcase and realised that Kaia never really had much in this house.

Before Akerian left Julian asked, "Is.... Is he okay?"

Akerian looked back and thought for a while, " He said he was but I'll know when he comes to me tomorrow." And left.

This was a stab in Julian's heart. Kaia was meeting up with Akerian instead of him. He just stood in the living room for a long time wondering how things turned out this way.
