Its going to be fun

Lilys pov

It had been 2 weeks since meeting Scarlett, I have ignored all her messages whilst on my school break because i didn't want to speak to her, of course i felt bad because she was the only one who was there for me on that last day off school, my dad didnt come home til the next day he even tried to talk to me but i ignored him too either staying in my room refusing to talk or out with my friends

Today i was going out with my friend Adeline and we were going to the mall, which i needed to get some new summer outfits as we only had the weekend left before we went back to school

I woke up at 10, i would normally never be awake this early but i didnt want to be late meeting Adeline, i got myself ready wearing a white crop top with some denim shorts, i started to make my way down the stairs and thats when i heard the two voices coming from the kitchen

I knew that Scarlett was here, she had sent me multiple messages and i know she is trying to look out for me but i couldnt let myself become attached with her, Scarlett and my dad has seemed to make up after Scarlett shouting at him after leaving when i told him what had happened, but i knew my dad wasnt mad at me and that he was only upset because i hadnt told him what was going on but i dont want to speak to him yet, i needed him and he left me with a woman i had only just met even though she comforted me and made me feel safe its just very shitty of him to do

I got to the bottom of the stairs and placed my phone in the back pocket of my shorts and went to the front door placing on my shoes, i was halfway tying my lace on my second shoe when i heard footsteps coming towards me

It was my dad, and he looked down at me probably confused of what i was doing up this early and why am i getting ready to leave

"Squirt where you going?, i know you aren't talking to me but Scarletts here and she wanted to spend the day with you" my dad said with a small smile on his face

"Im going to the mall with Adeline sorry" i said opening the front door and leaving, making sure i dont turn back to see him standing there otherwise i know the tears will fall, i feel bad for pushing Scarlett out of my life but i cant handle her leaving me but all i wanted was for her to wrap me up into her arms and tell me everything would be fine and this time i would believe her because i feel safe with her

*time skip 3 hours later*

Adeline and I we went around to many different shops and we ended up getting matching bikinis and other outfits for our beach day that we have planned soon

It was now 1pm and we were currently sitting at our spot where we go and hang out which was the roof of this abandoned building, it wasnt that high up but you would definitely hurt yourself if you jumped from this height, we got there and our feet hung over the edge as we leaned into eachother, i rested my head on Adelines shoulder and looked at the sky, i was zoned out taking in my surrounding when Adeline started squealing

"Omg Lily, Harry said there is a party tonight that we are invited to" Lily could see the excitement on her best friends face and even though she didnt want to go she didnt want to ler her down

"It sounds fun but who even invited us" i ask earning the biggest grin from Adeline

"Leo Andrews" when i heard them two words coming out her mouth i was frozen, Leo is my crush and i have liked him since i was like 11, we used to be friends until he started hanging around with the football guys which lead to the mean cheerleaders always picking on me at school but i have got used to it all

"Okay we can go but i havent got any dresses with me or heals Adeline and you know im not speaking to my dad he wont let me go for a party"
I asked rambling on knowing if i go home my dad will not let me go back out especially after i just left the house when he was trying to start a conversation with me

"Lily we can go back to mine, i have loads of dresses and heals that you could borrow dont worry" Adeline said jumping up and reaching her hand out for me to take and i grabbed it and we climbed the ladder back down and made our way to Adelines house

*time skip 6pm*

We have just finished getting ready for the party, Adeline helped me do some light makeup and i borrowed a black strapless dress which my dad would go mental if he ever saw me in this which is why i told him that i would be sleeping over at Adelines tonight, her parents are having a date night and will be staying in a hotel tonight and they trust Adeline to be sensible

*back to earlier at 2pm*

hey dad, im not going to be home
tonight me and Ads are going to have
a sleepover

its okay squirt, thank you for
letting me know but please be safe
and call me if you need picking up
tomorrow, me and Scarlett want to
speak with you Lily you can ignore
me but its not fair for you to ignore
Scar when she hasnt done anything

We can speak tomorrow dad, ive just
got back to Adelines now and we are
just going to watch some movies and
order dinner, ill speak to you before bed

After Lily had told her dad she was staying at her friends house she started to get ready for the party, her and Adeline spent 4 hours getting ready as Lily wanted to look good for this party,she had never been to a school party with people her age, the only partys she had been to was her dads work partys and they were always so boring

*back to 6pm*

"You look amazing Lily, Leo will definitely notice you" Adeline said making Lily smile from head to toe

"You look so pretty Adeline and im pretty sure Jackson will end up noticing you" Lily told the other girl with a small smirk

Lilys pov

We got the heals on and i borrowed a little handbag from Adeline so we could put our phone in there, i knew that there was going to be alcohol in there, my dad had let me have a small sip of champagne at his work partys before but i havent had anything else but im going to have fun tonight no matter what

We started to make our way to Leos house which was only a 10 minute walk from Adelines house which was pretty lucky because otherwise we had no one else to take us, we made it in front of the house and you can hear the music coming from inside the house which made me wonder how on earth has he not had a noise complaint yet
