New beginnings

Birthday Part 1

We were starting to film black widow today so me and mom had to get up at 5 so we can get ready and head to set as they want to have a table read before rehearsals which even though I was tired I was very excited to film again and see the rest of the cast, we arrived on set and I was immediately hugged by Florence who said she was waiting in the car park for our car to pull up just so she could beat David into hugging me first and we were talking when suddenly we heard quick footsteps coming between us and David's smile dropped when he saw Florence next to me, it was my birthday and I was now 14 and David thinks Florence was in the car park because of the stupid contest thing they were doing but Florence told me she wanted to "hug the birthday girl" and she wanted to see if David actually remembered It was my birthday which I didn't really care if he did or didn't, I don't think I actually told him it was my birthday on the day we start filming so he couldn't have guessed

"That's not fair Pugh we agreed no waiting in the car park" David whines as he came closer to us and Florence stuck her tongue out at him before replying "Snooze you loose David" which made me and mom laugh at them both, David forced me to get on his back for a piggyback ride as he claimed I shouldn't be on my foot and my foot had been feeling better now and this morning I felt no pain on it but that's probably because for the last two days I have been carried everywhere which is slightly annoying because I can't do anything

This morning even though we had to be up early for filming mom made Colin and Rose get up because it was my birthday and she wanted to do special birthday pancakes but as soon as we were leaving they told us they were going back to sleep for a few more hours which we didn't blame them as it was 5 in the morning, mom told me we finish at 3 today so we were going to open my presents after dad got Rose from school which I didn't mind waiting considering I didn't ask for anything because I have all I need but that would never stop my parents as I know they went overboard with presents

We made our way into the meeting room where Rachel came over and whispered "Happy birthday little widow I have a gift for you in my trailer" and she hugged me before I thanked her and sat down next to her, I think the whole cast knew that we were seeing how long it would take for David to realise at this point but I knew he wasn't going to realise when it would be a random thing to guess, I wanted to tell David and put him out of his misery when he kept asking why people kept whispering to me but Florence told me no and he had to figure it out himself but her fun was ruined when the Russos walked in

"Thank you for everyone being here and we are pleased to say black widow has officially started filming so we are going to just go another room and have you guys practice in there with the cameras rolling so we know if we are getting the right shots then after lunch we will be in costume and starting to film and lastly we want to say a very happy birthday to our little widow" The Russos started and I smiled when I saw Kevin walking in with a cake and coming over to where I was sitting and placing it in front of me, I blew the candles out and I saw my mom filming me

"OH MY GOD IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY" David jumped up and immediately came over to me and hugged me and I laughed nodding "Why did none of you stupid fucks tell me?" I hear him say and mom covers my ears which I sigh at whilst I see Rachel punch him in the shoulder and she starts shouting at him "You can't swear we have a child with us" I hear her say when mom let go of my ears which I laugh at before telling them "I'm not a child by the way and I can swear my dad lets me sometimes" I tell them and I felt like I should have kept my mouth shut, my dad said I could swear just as long as it isn't aimed at someone and used maliciously which I understood and that's why he got mad when i swore at him and mom a few weeks ago because I was being hurtful with the swearing

"He does what?" Mom asked me glaring at me and I look over at Florence for help but she is in the corner recording us giggling and I turn back to my mom and tell her what he told me and she nodded her head telling me it was understandable what dad told me but I still weren't allowed to swear which made me sulk a little because dad said I was allowed over small things like if I stubbed my toe I could swear but mom told me that if she ever caught me swearing she would ground me
