i slowly went up to the door and opened it to see kai and tana with food & snacks.
cat - thank you guys. i smiled
kai - are you okay? he asked walking in
cat - yeah my face just hurts. i said rubbing it
tana - i can help, i bought ointment for it. she said happily.
cat - thank you tana. i smiled from ear to ear
kai - well let's eat our food and watch a show so we can help you feel better. he said flopping on my bed.
we turned on on my block reruns and ate our food. before you know it we were all knocked out on my bed. all that crying really put me to sleep.
i woke up to see both of my friends still sleeping peacefully in my bed. i smiled and laid back down and watched a couple tiktok's when kai started waking up.
cat - good morning. i whispered smiling to him.
kai - good morning cat. he motioned me to the hallway. i got up and met him outside of my door to see what he wanted.
cat - what's up?
kai- how are you feeling?
cat - i feel better, my face doesn't really hurt anymore.
kai - that's good. im so sorry this happened to you. you don't deserve any of this. you're a sweet girl and i love that about you. i wanna help you heal if that's okay. he said.
cat - are you plotting on me too? i asked getting irritated. i was tired of people luring me in and treating me like shit.
kai - no no of course not. im always here for you. i would never plot or do anything to hurt you. he said almost sounding convincing.
cat - okay. i looked down
kai - please trust me. he said lifting my chin up.
cat - i trust y-you. i stuttered like a dumbass.
kai - good. he kissed my forehead.
we went back inside and everyone left. then i was alone again drowning in my own thoughts. i didn't feel like doing anything today, i just wanted to stay home. idk what it is but i just felt so stupid. giving my all to someone who just used me for a bet, to prove his friends wrong, and even worse, to put his hands on me. ding. i picked up my phone looking to get a text from kai.
