i was still at the party until i just wanted to go back to my dorm. i was tired and ready to get in my bed. i tapped kai who was getting his drink and talked to him
cat - hey kai i think im gonna go home okay. i said pointing to the door.
kai - why don't you let me take you home?
cat - i drove here kai. i laughed
kai - then let me drive you home. he smiled
cat - fine. i gave in. i was too tired to argue anyways.
he took my keys and walked me to my car, i got in the passenger seat and fell asleep as soon as he started driving. i missed him a lot. more than anything.
k - cat? he shook me.
c - hmm? i said half asleep
k - we're back at your room. he chuckled
c - really? i said waking up
k - yes.
c - kai? can i ask you something?
k - yeah what's up? he said turning the car off
c - can you um stay the night? i don't wanna be alone. and i haven't been getting any sleep. i looked down.
k - of course i can. he smiled
c - really?
k - yes come on let's go.
i got out and smiled. i was so happy, i didn't wanna be alone and kai was the only one who could comfort me and help me get over this wave of depression i felt. i walked in and started my shower while he rambled trying to find clothes. i laughed and gave him a pair of old shorts that my dad gave me a long time ago. i got in the shower and did my night routine and put on my pjs. when i got out i seen kai making a pallet on the floor.
c - what's that for?
k - to sleep silly.
c - you can just sleep in my bed. it's big enough for
like three people. i laughed and shrugged
k - oh okay. he smiled
c - comfy right?
k - why the hell they don't make ours like this?
c - i don't know. i laughed.
i got into bed with him and turned off my lamp. i could only see him with my led lights on. he was handsome.
k - you know i missed you right? he said softly
c - i missed you more. i'm sorry i got mad at you and fled cali. i just needed a break from everyone.
k - it's fine i understand. he said rubbing my cheek.
c - okay. i smiled.
k - come here. he pulled me in and kissed my lips
i kissed back melting into his lips. i missed them so much. i missed all of him and how good he treated me.
k - goodnight cat. he said pulling back.
c - goodnight kai. i said laying my head on his chest.
soon we drifted off to sleep. and i fell into a deep sleep.
