i woke up feeling happy today. we were in hawaii, im having a good time, kai's cooking breakfast, the baby is healthy, everything is just perfect. i walked out of the room and into the living room where kai was at.
kai - good morning beautiful.
cat - hey baby how did you sleep?
kai - i slept good how about you?
cat - i slept good. i smiled and sat down.
kai - here. i made some eggs, pancakes and bacon for us.
cat - oh thank you baby. i said giving him a quick kiss and started to eat.
kai - so what do you wanna do today?
cat - hmm. i wanna go shopping and swimming. i said with my mouth full.
kai - okay okay that sounds fun. he said cleaning off the table
cat - yeah. i smiled.
kai - have you heard from that dude?
cat - mm no. he hasn't texted me. i wouldn't know because i blocked him.
kai - oh oka-
he was interrupted by the door slamming open. antonio and duke busted in with guns and syringes. i thought he was dead? why did they have syringes? i had so many questions. duke grabbed me and put his arm around my throat and put a gun to my head while antonio was holding kai with a gun to head also. i was terrified. i had a baby and i had a boyfriend.
duke - thought yall could get away from me huh? yall made me travel across the fucking nation.
cat - please don't hurt me. i cried.
duke - shutup.
kai - cat it's okay just relax.
as i was crying, ethan walks in and shoots a syringe into my arm, then i passed out.
i woke up with a massive headache. i was in a small bed and my hands and feet were cuffed surprisingly. the room i was in was rather small. it had just a bed, white walls and a nightstand. i don't know what i did to deserve this. i just came to cali to be a school girl, not being held hostage in another fucking country. the door swung open to duke, i was scared of him but i held my own.
duke - come here. he said closing the door
cat - please don't hurt me.
duke - just get over here.
i walked over to him and he lifted my chin and kissed me. i barely kissed back but i did to not make him mad
duke - i missed you. he winked.
cat - missed y-you too. i whispered
duke - whatd you say?
cat - i said i missed you too. i said a little louder.
duke - good girl. now, i might let you go if you do me a little favor.
cat - what was it? please tell me. i pleaded
duke - i need you to shoot kai.
cat - what?
duke - did i stutter? i said shoot him. he said getting impatient.
cat - okay. i looked down
duke - look, after you do this favor. you won't even have to see me. you can live your life. under my watch tho. he looked down at me.
cat - okay.
duke - so take this. he said handing me a loaded gun.
and then go back to where yall are staying, i'll
drive you. and you simply shoot him. and watch what you say because i'll be watching. do you understand?
cat - yes.
duke - yes what?
cat - yes daddy. i cringed.
duke - now follow me to the car.
i followed him out and he took me to the hotel.
duke - here take this earpiece. it's connected to a bomb, which means if you say the wrong thing, i could press this button and you'll look like bacon bites. he pulled out a remote button.
cat - okay. i sighed and put in the earpiece
duke - now go. he pushed me into the lobby.
cat - okay.
duke - wait. put this in your bra. he said putting the gun in my shirt and hiding it with his big jacket.
i went up the elevator and and silently knocked on the door. no one answered.
duke - knock louder! he yelled through the earpiece
cat - okay. i said pounding on the door.
after 2 minutes, kai answered.
kai - baby! he pulled me into a hug.
cat - hi. i smiled.
kai - are you okay? he said concerned.
cat - yes i'm fine.
kai - are you sure? he said frowning.
cat - yes.
duke is the dumbest person on earth. i could just type everything that's happening on kai's phone.
i signaled kai to give me his phone. when he gave it to me, i heard duke yell on the earpiece.
duke - fucking hurry up and shoot him cat.
cat - uh kai i have to tell you something. i said typing on his phone to make duke think i was actually about to kill him.
kai - what is it?
i showed him what i texted on the phone. it said 'duke told me to kill you and he's on an earpiece right now just go along with it' he understood and went with it.
i then signaled him to close his ears and when he did, i shot at the floor.
cat - its done.
duke - good now im coming up
i panicked because i didn't actually shoot kai.
he was coming up and kai was hiding. so i needed to do what i had to do.
duke - alright where is he?
i then pointed the gun at him.
duke - don't fucking shoot me catrina.
