Around 8:15 a.m., Kjin finished uploading the first chapter of his story, "A Small Brown Box Called Home." A sense of accomplishment washed over him as he admired his work on the screen. The story held a piece of his heart, and he hoped that it would resonate with readers.

As he glanced at his computer, he noticed a pamphlet on the side, advertising job openings for checkers at the department store in Silver Mall, Rosario.

A smile tugged at his lips. It was as if the universe was presenting him with an opportunity to take a step forward in his career.

"Nice timing," Kjin murmured to himself, a spark of excitement igniting within him. He knew that securing a job would not only provide financial stability but also offer him valuable experience and a chance to grow.

With a renewed sense of determination, he began crafting his resume. Each word and phrase were carefully chosen to highlight his skills and educational background, showcasing his potential as a candidate.

As he typed, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pride in his accomplishments. Although he had limited job experience, his OJT as a programmer was a valuable asset.

Once satisfied with his resume, Kjin proceeded to print multiple copies. The sound of the printer filled the small space, signifying the tangible representation of his qualifications. Holding the stack of resumes in his hand, he felt a surge of anticipation and hope.

"Here's your printed copy," the man at the counter said, handing Kjin the neatly stacked resumes.

"Thanks," Kjin said, his gratitude evident in his voice. He carefully placed the resumes in a folder, ensuring they remained pristine and professional.

With his resumes in tow, Kjin made his way to Silver Mall Rosario. The bustling atmosphere filled him with a mix of excitement and nervousness. He approached the guard stationed at the entrance, seeking guidance on where to apply for the job.

"Excuse me, sir. I saw the job opening for checkers in the department store. Could you please tell me where I can apply?" Kjin inquired politely, his voice filled with a mix of eagerness and nervousness.

The guard smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting a genuine desire to help. He pointed towards the employees' entrance, providing clear directions. "You're in the right place. Head over there and wait until 9:00 a.m. for the examination. Good luck!"

"Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help," Kjin replied gratefully, a sense of gratitude evident in his voice. He followed the guard's directions, making his way to the designated area, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and anticipation.

As he settled into the waiting area, Kjin glanced at the clock, counting down the minutes until the examination would begin.

Thoughts of the job and the potential it held swirled in his mind, fueling his determination to give it his all. He observed the other applicants, their nervous energy palpable in the air.

As the clock struck 9:00 a.m., signaling the start of the examination, Kjin took a deep breath, ready to showcase his skills and determination. He entered the examination room with a renewed sense of purpose, his mind focused on the task at hand.

The questions were straightforward, and Kjin found himself navigating through them with ease. He felt a surge of confidence as he completed each section, his determination shining through his every move. Though the time limit was one hour, he finished early, feeling optimistic about his performance.

After the one-hour time limit, the examiner collected the papers and informed the applicants to wait for the announcement of the successful candidates.
