SPIDER WAS SWEATING, his brows lined with sweat as his hands clenched at his sides. He had spent the night trying to coax answers about of Daisy, but had failed miserably until eventually he had fallen asleep and she had disappeared in the morning. He had panicked and shown up at Cash's house, one more awkward conversation later Cash was also laced with worry, sitting at the table across from him.

Cash had told him she had hadn't returned to her dad's either and in fact he couldn't get in contact with her at all. By early morning, Spider had begun distracted with a different matter. Snitching on Amerie had been foolish, and Daisy would have scolded him if she had been there.

Making up the rumour to get out of SLT's had been Dusty's doing but Spider felt just as guilty as they escorted Amerie and Jojo out of the school. Yet, Spider's mask slipped back on and he smirked and jeered as Amerie walked past them.
He started to make a snarky comment when the words disappeared from his tongue and his heart dropped.

A female police officer escorted another out of the office. A girl sobbing, her hands wrapped around herself as she choked on her own tears. Cash shot to his feet at the sight of Daisy Cooper, her face buried into her hands as she was lead towards the school gates.

Spider froze as he watched it play out, he tried to move but he just couldn't. He wasn't even sure if he was breathing. "Daisy." Cash tore past Spider, approaching the police officer helping Daisy out. Another officer stood in his way as Daisy moved past the group, her eyes puffy and red like she'd been crying for hours.

"What are you doing!" Cash hissed trying to push past the office, "Move, ya dog." He seethed yet the officer didn't budge eventually Darren stepping in to lay a hand on Cash's arm.

"Doug." Daisy called out, her voice cracking as she spoke, "Somebody found out." She paused, "He's in jail." Daisy looked at Spider for just a second before her eyes dropped and another sob escaped her lips.

"Oh fuck." Cash shouted still pumping with adrenaline as he paced backward a few steps, "Fuck." He let out a laugh that almost sounded like a sob, the group's attention turning to him for answers.

"Cash, what's happening?" Darren pressed but Cash was already pulling from their grip. "Cash?" Cash rubbing a hand over his face as he ripped his keys from his pocket.

"I need to go." He choked out looking at only Darren, "Sorry, I need to go." He apologised as he took off towards the carpark, leaving his bag discarded at Darren's side.

Silence engulfed the court until Spider broke out of his momentary trance and paced towards the school building ignoring Ant's shouting. Spider was quick, ducking under the police tape and into his old classroom.

"Spider!" Ant pressed trialling after him as he ducked under the police tape to join his side, "What are you.." He paused when he looked at the flipped table Spider was currently gaping at "Shit." Was all Ant managed as he too gaped at the red writing on the underside of the table.
