DAISY COOPERS SLUNG HER BAG OVER HER SHOULDER WITH A SIGH, finishing her last class of the day. Beginning to walk towards the car park she slowed, narrowing her eyes at her car in the distance. Spider held a smug grin on his lips, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited for her to get to her car.
Realisation hit Daisy, her feet halting directly in front of him, a curse slipping between her teeth.
She had promised a study session with Spider almost a week ago but lots had happened over the week and frankly Daisy was exhausted.
"Ready to go, Coopers?" Spider winked, his own car keys swing around his fingers. She hesitated before she spoke, running a tired hand over her face.
"Spider," She exhaled gently, "I'm exhausted and I'd much rather—
"I have a free house Coopers, it's no stress." He brushed her words aside, gesturing for her to follow him as he stood from her car, "You can watch me study," He shrugged, her cheeks flushing as she reluctantly followed after him.
"Spider— wait." She tried to keep up with his long strides, "What about my car!" Her confusion rose to the surface, still clutching her books to her chest.
"I have training later Coopers," Spider opened the passenger door for her, "I can drop you back to your car." With a wince she sat in the passenger seat, shifting so he could shut the door behind her.
"What music do you like?" Spider handing her his phone carelessly, getting into the drivers side, "Play whatever you want Daisy." She allowed a smile to creep onto her face, her fingers hovering over his spotify excitedly.
"I like most of this." She flicked through his liked song, failing to notice Spider's eyes on her, "I like San Cisco they are quite good." Spider's eyes widened, his brows raised.
"Yeah, they're one of my favourites." Daisy shifted in the seat of Spider's rather expensive car, way nicer than her own, "I am in a band if you remember," She nodded, still transfixed on his phone.
"Why don't you play more music like this?" She asked curiously, flicking through another of his playlists.
"We're trying, it's kind of hard trying to stick to everyone's interest." He bared his teeth, in a wince of sorts, "How'd you go with your English?" Spider pulled into the driveway of his house, "I finished mine last week," He bragged, opening the car door and stepping out.
"Good. It's all good." Her tone came out higher pitched than usual, Daisy following Spider to the door, in seconds the front door swinging open and Spider sauntering in. Her eyes widened as she entered the house, Spider's house a nicer home than she'd been in.
Family photos littered the walls, most photos were of Spider's older brother. The few childhood photos of Spider caught her attention, her fingers running along the frames, "These are cute." She teased, standing on her tippy toes to view the photos.
"Fuck off." He called out from a bedroom at the end, Daisy continung to look through the photos. She wasn't usually so nosy, but Spider's family seemed normal, nothing like hers.
"Give me your laptop Daisy, let me read your work." Spider entered the room again in different clothes, his hand extended towards her. Daisy reluctantly handed it over as Spider moved past her to what looked like the kitchen.
"Won't your parents be home soon Spencer?" She watched the blonde tense at the sound of his name from lips. "Or your brother?"
