A GROAN SLIPPED FROM HER LIPS as Daisy Coopers woke, peeling her eyes open slowly. Sunlight peered through the curtains, coating her in a warm light that made her blink a few times to adjust. Her head was pounding and the stench of alcohol on her skin was more than obvious. Glancing around, reality slowly set in and her eyes widened.

This wasn't her room. And these weren't her clothes, if you could even call it that, a dark shirt the only material covering her. She must've hooked up with somebody, and.. and forgotten. It was so unlike Daisy, she shuddered trying to recall the night before. Propping herself up on her elbows it took another second to realise she wasn't alone. A arm wrapped out her waist almost possessively, the owner covered in the thick quilt.

She held her breath as she slowly moved the blanket to reveal blonde hair, strewn messily across...

Daisy screamed. Her companion jolted upward as Daisy scrambled from his grip, forcing herself to her feet, securing a hand on the wall to steady herself. He seemed to do the same though he hardly caught himself falling to the ground before he too jumped to his feet.

"Coopers?" He narrowed his eyes, swaying slightly l, "What the fuck is happening." Spencer White panicked, his eyes racking over before he cast his gaze elsewhere realising Daisy was practically naked. His first thought was simple, Cash was going to fucking murder him.

"Spider." Daisy exhaled, her eyes equally as wide, hand clutched over her mouth, "How did.. How did I get here." She slowly started to connect the dots, tugging her hands through her long hair. Spider had begun swearing, quite profusely as Daisy continued scanning the room finally landing on the evidence.

A plastic condom, discarded in the bin beside a desk. No, no, no.

"Oh fuck me." She groaned, springing into action as she tore across the room looking for her clothes while Spider practically hyperventilated. "Spider." Daisy called, snapping him back into reality, "Calm down and help me find my clothes.." She seethed, "Please." He shook his head before he moved slamming a drawer open to toss a pair of shorts in her direction still shielding his eyes.

"Can you—" He scrubbed a hand over his face, "Can you remember what happened last night Daisy?" He muttered, wincing when he examined Daisy's neck which she had begun to discover was covered in hickeys. Slamming her hand over her phone she held the camera to her face, releasing a sharp breath as she assessed her skin.

"No." She whimpered, "I.. Cash slipped me something before the festival and—" She paled, shoving her phone into the pockets of the shorts she had tugged on, "God, he's going to murder me." Spider laughed mockingly as he scrubbed his face again trying to rid himself of the hangover.

"Murder you?" He seethed, "He's going to murder me." He realised he was shirtless and quickly tugged on the shirt closest to him.

"He won't." Daisy ran her fingers through her hair again, "I promise he won't." She seemed to be trying to convince herself of this. "We just have to keep this secret." She finally met his eyes, "Spider you can't tell anybody okay." She crossed the room, pressing a finger to his chest as her eyes hardened.

"Yeah, I won't say a word." He nodded, Daisy removing her hand as she slid past him and towards the door. "I don't remember what happened Daisy, I'm sorry." He breathed out before he could stop himself, Daisy tugging the door open.

"It's not your fault." Daisy offered him a soft smile, "Just don't say anything Spider, okay." He nodded before he could say another word she fled down the hall somehow finding her way out before he could catch up.

Daisy Coopers was a good student. She was known for her perfect record, her perfect grades, her perfect personality. Daisy Coopers perfected everything she did, and she never gave up. She was untouchable in more ways than one, her best friend Cash, a protector that threatened to staunch anybody that came close to her.

They were practically siblings and the pair had grown up together, since preschool. Daisy Coopers house was on the same road as Cash's, though it was further down the road, in a house that she had always hated.

Daisy's mother had passed away in the hospital, giving birth to her. It had been something she had never truly shook off, the guilt keeping her awake some days. Her father had never been a good person. He had blamed her for taking away his wife, for murdering her.

Sometimes Daisy's dad was drunk, and sometimes Daisy had to stay at Cash's. The system had never truly done anything and Daisy was afraid of the system more than her father.

Daisy had never been in love. Sometimes she thought she never would be. Her good girl reputation was something she held onto. She had hooked up with a few of Cash's friends but nothing that could truly harm her reputation. Until him.

Spencer White did not have a great reputation. For one, Cash hated the teen, despising his very existence. Spencer did average in his grades instead preferring to work on his physical stature instead. Daisy and Spider had never so much than smiled at each other, greeted each other and only ever at parties.

Daisy knew this was bad. Spider had a reputation for spreading his body count, and that had Daisy on edge. By the time she had got home and slipped in through her back window, she was exhausted. She quickly dumped Spider's clothes in the back of her wardrobe changing into her own before slumping into bed.

Sleep came easy and she didn't awake until the bed dipped and somebody called her name.
"Hey Doug." She whispered as she peeled one eye open turning on her side to face him, "Are you okay?" When he didn't reply she rubbed her eyes sleepily, sitting up slightly as she waited.

"I did something bad mae." Her middle name wasn't a rare word from Cash's lips, "I don't know how to fix it." He mumbled softly, watching the ceiling fan spin slowly.

"What did you do Doug." She replied softly, offering a hand which he took gratefully clutching it like his life depended on it, "Whatever it was, we can figure it out." She assured him, squeezing his hand back.

"The boys thought it'd be funny to stay late at the festival." He paused, clearing his throat when his words shook, "Harper was there." He took a shaky breath, before tears begun to stream down the sides of his face hitting the sheets. "Something happened mae, and she's never going to forgive me." He turned to face her, wiping the tears from his cheeks shamefully.

"I should've done more— I could've done more."
Daisy's features softened as she brushed a stray tear from his face.

"Whatever you did Cash, it would've been the right thing. I know it was." She mumbled, sleepily as her eyelids fluttered, "You're upset, we'll figure it out in the morning Doug." She felt her vision darkening, "Everything will be okay."
