Conflicted - Twist Of Fate

Twin Alphas.

Tristan's eyes glow, I feel his wolf come to the surface as anger and desperation fill the room. 'His name is Karos, his wolf, his trying to connect with me' Aurora informs me, her heart filled with sadness at not reaching out to him too. 'We can't do this, think of Aiden' I remind Aurora and myself at the same time.

The door opens and another male enters the room. His scent is similar to Tristan's, with a mix of my favourite flower, lily's. I know this must be Nate.

"Tristan, calm yourself and take control. You are going to scare her" his voice calm. As he makes eye contact his wolf pushes, "MATE" he claims, starting to approach me before regaining control and stopping himself.

"She wants to reject us" Tristan states, his voice filled with anguish. Nate's eyes are pained but also understanding. "That is her choice" he says to his brother. He walks towards me, his eyes searching mine. "I do beg you though, hear us out first. We are not our father".

I find myself short of breath. This is too much. Having them both here. Their scents are driving me crazy. I want nothing more to accept them both. Have both of them in my bed and live what I know would be a happy life.

'Armina, think of Aiden and Dimitri, I want them to, but this would destroy them' I snap out of it. She's right. Steeling myself I force the words out.

"No, I Armina Carter reject you Alphas Nate & Tristan Hayes of the Eclipse pack as my destined mates" I announce. I feel my heart break as the bond tie shutters. Nate nods sadly, "This is your choice, I won't take that from you. I Nate Hayes.." he doesn't get to finish as he is sent flying across the room. Tristan stands over him, "NO!" he screams. He looks back to me, "I Tristan Hayes, Alpha of the Eclipse pack refuse your rejection" he screams as he rushes towards me. 

He pushes me against the wall again. "You are OURS" his fangs come out, I see his eyes go to my marking spot and sense what he is about to do.
He is going to mark me. Against my will. I scream. My will throwing him back, flying across the room and into the wall near the door. Wind circulates the room, throwing items everywhere as I let my power free. I throw my force at him, watching as he winces in pain against the wall.

"You do not control me. You will never control me. I am not YOURS!" I scream, feeling the bond between us break as I fall to my knees.

The power dies down as Tristan falls to the ground. His body shakes as the tears fall. He stares at me in disbelief, "How did you do that?" He asks, "She's a destiny wolf" Nate states. His eyes locked on me.

I feel the bond still strong with with him. Only Tristan's bond was broken. 'How is this possible?' I ask Aurora, 'I don't know Armina, it doesn't make sense'

My body is tired. My eyes barely able to stay open. I've used a lot of energy. Too much to stand another bond being broken. Instead I try to stand strong and walk out of the door. I feel Nate's eyes watching me closely.

Tristan stays on the ground. Tears running down his face. I rush out of my room. Not knowing where to go. I just need the world to slow down for a little while, I need something to feel normal, good.

I don't want to face the mass of people downstairs so on auto pilot as I knock on the door of the one person I can handle seeing. Knowing Aiden would feel responsible for the pain I am going through; it can't be him. 

Leo answers the door in only a towel. 

My eyes can't help but wander down his six pack to where his towel sits, before they wander back to his eyes.

"Armina are you okay?" His eyes instantly concerned. "I can't go back to my room" I state, my eyes closing as fatigue runs over me. I don't say anything else as my body gives way and I feel his strong arms catch me before I hit the floor.

"ARMINA!" he yells, trying to shake me awake, I manage to force my mouth to move. "I broke the bond with Tristan" I state as the world goes black.
