I thanked her again then opened one of the containers and grinned really appreciative of her, once I saw the teriyaki chicken and shrimp on fried rice with potatoes she'd brung. "You drove to Lil'Tokyo to get this, that's the opposite direction out of the way of your job babe you didn't have to do that, I could've ordered something". I signaled her to come to me and when she got up, I pulled her onto my lap.
"Jahron is was no trouble and plus I had to pick up some things I'd ordered for my house so I killed two trips in one. Now, give me kiss and eat". I kissed her full lips and felt something for the first time. I pulled away and starting eating in case she noticed my change in vibe.
"I love you Niyoni", I blurted. She continued to play in my dreads and smiled. "I love you too baby".
