Chapter 4-Look at what I've become

That night after the whole commotion happened with Tony's people, Babes Father and the others finding out about the baby. This made both Charlie and Babe exhausted to the point as soon as they got home them both quickly fell sound asleep on the bed.

The next day...
The team were supposed to meet up at 11 am and it was already half past 10 and Charlie till wasn't up, which was unusual for him. " Charlieeee" Babe sighs pulling Charlies arm to get him out of bed. "Get up." Babe gets frustrated then opens the blinds that are now shining on Charlies face. Charlie grunts as he covers his eyes with the pillow and turns around. " Last chance to get up or else I'm leaving without you." Babe states then starts to walk down stairs. Charlie finally gets up and has a shower then goes downstairs, "Good morning" Charlie whispers in Babes ear wrapping his arms around Babes waist. "Good mor-" Babe is cut off from this scent coming from Charlie making him cover his nose with his shirt. Charlie steps back, "What's wrong do I smell?" Charlie pouts, "You smell like. Nvm"Babe just turns back around still covering is his nose from the strong engima aroma covering the room. " Anyway let's go. We are going to be late." Babe starts to walk to the front door then is stopped by Charlie who is putting on this puppy face, "Phi... What's wrong" Charlie complains still shocked by Babes actions. "Ugh, Nothing Charlie now let's go." Charlie let's go of Babe hearing his words.

They go to Alan's house...

Babe just opens the door and walks in as everyone is already there.
Way: Babe why are you late.
Babe: Sorry it's because this one didn't wake up till like 20 minutes go. Babe responds pointing as Charlie rolling his eyes.
Jeff coughs, the rest look at him." What's wrong? "Charlie asks."Nothing... "Jeff faces way from Charlie who looks confused. As the others talk about what how they are gonna get into Tony's Mansion to collect information. Charlie just goes and sits next to Babe listening to their conversation. "I'll do it.." Babe responds looking at the others "What the hell Babe it's to risky to send you there, your gonna put not just you but your baby in danger as well." Way yells looking irritated. "I have my senses I'll be fine." Babe replies. Charlie grips is nails into Babe thigh as he talks looking angry. "Oww!" Babe yells looking at Babe. Charlie just gets up and walks off.
Alan: Is Charlie okay?
Babe: I don't know what's wrong with him.
Jeff : Should I talk to him?
Alan : No we need to go now anyway.
Way: We will deal with Charlie later we need to hurry up now, North Sonic. Common.
Jeff: Charlie! Hurry up.
Charlie comes back following them with his head down passing Alan and Jeff who are at the doorway. Alan puts his hand in front stopping Charlie...
Alan: Wait a minute are you gonna tell us what's going on?
Jeff nods
Charlie gives them a glare before saying,
"Are you seriously gonna let him do this? He's pregnant with my child." Charlie yells at them before continuing walking.
Jeff and Alan just look at each other before going to the car.

When they arrive...

They walk out heading in Tony's Mansion. Jeff, North, Sonic and Alan are stopped by security guards hovering the entrance Alan looks at Charlie who is following Babe. Way on the other hand goes up to Tony's preparation room to talk to him pretending to be on his side. Babe runs into the room searching every draw and cupboard looking for information. Charlie walks in and starts searching too, Babe looks at him. "Charlie what are you doing here you should leave" Babe comments before walking to the place that Charlie in searching. Charlie who is fed up with Babes behavior stands up and yells.. "What have I done Phi? I just want to protect you!" Babes focus goes from Charlie to the guard standing behind him with a gun pointed at him. "Charlie.." Babe goes frozen then slowly starts to stand up. Charlie turns around in shock seeing a gun pointed at him. Babe senses the man is gonna shoot so he runs to Charlie pushing him out of the way.
BANG!
It goes silent...
Charlie looks at Babe who seems intact rushes to him." Babe! are you okay?" Charlie shakes him, Babe looks at him still in shock suddenly snaps out of it then collapses in Charlies arm holding his side which as been shot. Charlie looks at the wound then suddenly panicks getting up in anger and gets into a fist fight with the guard. Charlie manages to kill the guard but gets beat up in the process, Charlie runs back to Babe who is groaning in pain suddenly passes out. "Shit. Nooo nooo nooo." Charlie looks at Babe in fear quickly picking up Babe despite he is bleeding himself aswell. "ALAN!" Charlie yells sobbing in fear, The rest run to him noticing he is holding Babe you is unconscious. "We need to get him to get him to a hospital. Now!" Charlie begs. Alan grabs Babe off Charlie who has gone weak and runs to the car putting him inside. They drive off quickly, Charlie has Babe in his lap sobbing wondering what's gonna happen to him. Then way who is sitting next to him tries calming Charlie down.

They arrive at the hospital...

They rush out of the car Charlie picking Babe up again and runs to the emergency room. The doctors get him on a bed quickly then shut the door on Charlie who is waiting outside trying to look through the window as the others are sitting waiting for the doctors. "Excuse me." The nurse interrupts Charlie. "Yes?" Charlie adds looking back at the window, "You are bleeding Sir. You need medical treatment" The Nurse complains. " No I'm Fi-" "Go." Chart is cut of by Jeff who is now standing up with his hand on his shoulder. Charlie looks at Jeff "We will take care of Babe." Charlie sighs then nods before following the Nurse to to checked up.

1 hour later...

Charlie runs back to the room still seeing Alan, Jeff and Way sitting outside the room. As Charlie comes the Doctor comes out. Everyone stands up, " Who is the partner?"Charlie comes closer raising his hand. The doctor explains to Charlie that the Babe is fine as well as the baby. Charlie sighs in relief but now is pissed that Babe didn't listen to him but Charlie keeps that to himself can asks the doctor if they can go in. The doctor nods as they walk into the hospital room
They see Babe on the bed looking at his phone. "Babe!" Babe looks at Way who is the first to his side. "Thank god your okay, Babe." Alan comments before stopping feeling the tension between Babe and Charlie. Way steps back making room for Charlie to stand as he talks to him. Charlie looks cold as he pulls the Chair that was behind him forward then looks at Babe who turns away from Charlie. "Look at me." Charlie says calmly then notices Babe not answering, so Charlie stands up and grabs Babes face turning it toward him. Babe flinches as he has never seen this side of Charlie before. "I'm thankful that you protected me but you put your self and OUR BABY at risk"Charlie yells before continuing "Your so stubborn that you nearly got our baby KILLED! ." Charlie yells even louder. "You stubborn  morther fu-" "Enough Charlie!" Alan stops Charlie from saying further. Charlie just scoffs and gives Babe a death stare before walking out. Babe whimpers trying to control is tears but fails bursting out into tears after Charlie leaves. Way comforts Babe feeling miserable seeing is best friend cry over the guy he hates himself. "Shh it's okay" Jeff adds walking up to Babe. "He probably just got too worried as lashed out." Alan adds before closing the hospital door. "Your allowed to go home now we will take you home." Way mentions before helping Babe up.

They take Babe home...

Babe reassures them that he his fine and that they don't need to come in then thanks them before leaving.
Babe throws his stuff on the couch before going up stairs. He looks at him self in the mirror then pulls up his top seeing his bump start to show and then right next to it at bandage with blood stain covered in it. Babe pulls down his top remembering what Charlie said to him. He sits on the bathroom floor with his head in his knees then starts to cry again knowing that he nearly killed their baby. "I'm sorry.." Babe puts a hand on his stomach then feels a hand touch his...
Charlie who is now sitting next to him comforts Babe till he stops crying. "I'm sorry Charlie" Babe looks up at Charlie who has his head leaning against the wall. "It's okay it's not your fault. I just got stressed because I saw you fall in my arms and I didn't know what has going to happen to you." Charlie whispers not wanting to yell at babe anymore,Babe smiles then being Inturupted by. "Ugh. I'm gonna be sick.. "Babe adds before kneeling in front of the toilet bowl then starts throwing up. Charlie holds Babes hair that his in his face then putting his head on his boyfriends back.
After babe finishes he sits back again leaning his head against Charlies shoulder. "Why am I like this"Babe states before struggling to get up then being carried by Charlie to bed. "Like what? More beautiful." Charlie replies before kissing Babes forehead then gets into bed with Babe, Resting off to sleep...
