Chapter 23- Again??? 📌📍

That evening when all the guests left it was just the team as well as Charlie, Babe and the twins. They were held back by Charlie who wanted to tell them straight out while Babe didn't really care at this point because he was drained from being bombarded with people.
Babe was laying on the couch with his eyes half closed, "So care to explain?" Way says crossed starring at Babe as well as the others.
Babe doesn't respond and just lays there out of it, "BABE! are you drunk or something?" North yells. "He's pregnant you idiot" Jeff replies moving closer to Babe sitting beside him, "Wait how? Since when" Alan adds shaking Babe trying to get him up.
Babe grunts and sits up laying his head on Charlies shoulder, "Last month" Babe whispers closing his eyes. "LAST MONTH. CHARLIE YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW ARE YOU OKAY WITH THIS?" Way yells which makes Charlie jump, "Stop overreacting Way." Jeff comments putting his hand over Ways mouth to shut him up.
Babe gets up all of a sudden feeling like he is being watched other from his friends which are glaring at him, Babe walks over to the door and looks out of the door into the hallway. "Nothing." Babe thinks then turns back to the others, "Babe listen." North begs kneeling down in front of Babe suddenly. "North what the hell are you doing?" Babe asks looking down at North who is at his feet, Babe hears running at quickly turns back around and runs out of the room.
"Well what the fuck." Way states then runs after Babe along with the others, Jeff stays in the room with the sleeping twins while the others chase Babe.
The hallway is pitch black which makes North and Kim run into each other, "Owww why is your head so hard" Kim complain falling on the ground. North runs his hands along the walls trying to look for a light, "ALAN!" Charlie yells from down the hallway. Kim and North get up and follow the yelling, they reach a room with little light but they can still see. "Charlie what happened? Where is Babe" Kim asks worried looking around with no sight of Babe, "I don't know he was here one second then gone the next" Charlie sobs. "He couldn't have gone far" Alan reassures Charlie and goes to check the rest of the building, North and Way follow while Kim stays with Charlie trying to comfort him.

5 minutes later the thress come back with a dead like expression, "Did you find him?" Charlie asks standing up grabbing Way by his sleeve. Way sighs and shakes his head, "Charlie we will find him." Alan adds taking out his phone quickly dialing Babe, he answers...
Alan hears heavy breathing.
Alan: Babe?
Unknown caller: Are you his partner?
Alan looks at Charlie unsure and hands the phone to him
Charlie: Yes now what the fuck did you do with him
Unknown caller: No need to growl Charlie...
Charlie: Who are you?
Unknown caller: Wow I'm offended that you don't remember your own brother.
Charlies eyes widen and stares blankly at Alan
Charlie: Mar-No.
Unknown caller: So you do remember me (giggles)
Charlie: You died in the fire
Unknown caller: Did I?
Charlie doesn't respond...
Unknown caller: Anyway if you want to see you wife and your unborn child again, I suggest you come.
Charlie: Where the fuck are you!
Unknown caller: You know exactly were I am.
He hangs up...

Charlie passes the phone to Alan aggressively and walks out going back to were his kids are.
"Charlie? What happened" Jeff asks seeing the fury in his eyes. "Nothing just...." Charlie hesitates to say further, "Can you sleepover at out house tonight and look after the twins tonight please" Charlie begs. "Yeah of course but why?" Jeff asks worried placing a hand on Charlies shoulder, "I'll explain after just please" Charlie answers as tears dwell in his eyes. Jeff sighs and nods, Alan goes along and takes Jeff and the twins to Charlie and Babes house to stay while Charlie rushes out if the venu to go find his wife.

Charlie pulls up and this house that brings back memories, bad memories. He ignores thoses feeling and just barges into the house looking for Babe. "About time" a voice is heard from behind Charlie, Charlie quickly turns to see his alive brother standing before him. "Where is my wife" Charlie growls holding him by the collar, the man frowns and pushes Charlie against the wall harder making him whimper in pain.
"How dare you treat your older brother like this. Father wouldn't be happy seeing you disrespect me" He whispers in Charlies ear.
He let's go of Charlie and drags him into the other room,
he sees Babe tied up with bruises and and marks covering his body. "BABE" Charlie cries running to him noticing the wounds covering him, "WHAT THE FUCK!" Charlie yells turning to him getting up and slapping his brother.
The man seems pleasured seeing Charlies weakness, "See your wife. He's injured you should go help him" He speaks letting out a hand to help Babe up. Babe glares at the guy and grips onto the guys hand tightly, The man just smirks and shakes Babe off flinging him across the room with all his strength. "AHH"Babe cries holding his stomach, The man grabs Charlie and ties him to the chair.
"You know what you did-" He is cut of by Charlie breaking himself free from the ropes punching him in the face still he bleeds. "SHUT UP" Charlie screams holding his hands around his brother neck ready to strangle him. Babe manages to get up and take Charlie off him before he kills the guys, "Charlie enough please" Babe faintly speaks.
Charlie looks at Babe and let's go of the man and just hugs Babe, "I'm sorry." Charlie whispers then continues sobbing again. "Shhh it's fine but.." Babe looks down at his own body then freezes, "blood" Babe adds looking at his hands which are covered in his own blood. Babe feels faint but is able to stay awake, Charlie picks Babe up to rush him to the hospital realising his condition start to worsen. "Charlie don't cry again" Babe teases wiping Charlie tears off his cheeks. "It's okay..."
