Chapter 5- The First/Last race🩷🩵

BANG! Babe gasps as he suddenly wakes up realising it was a nightmare. Charlie wakes up next to him, "Good morning Baby, Are you ready for the race today." Charlie then kissed Babe before getting up. "Charlie." Charlie turns around and looks at Babe, "I don't want you too race." This catchs Charlie attention before sitting back down next to Babe. "Why Phi"Charlie give Babe puppy eyes, Babe looks at him having a flash back to Charlies accident thinking he was dead. Charlie understands what Babe is talking about then gives him a reassuring look, " I promise it won't happen again. And also I want to race with my Boyfriend knowing it's gonna be his last race for awhile. Babes fear suddenly fades as he hears Charlies words. They both get up Babe notices his belly that started to get bigger then turns away from Charlie making sure he doesn't see. Charlie however already saw this and just chuckles to himself before walking behind Babe and whispering in his ear, "Mamaaa. Why are you hiding yourself." this remark makes babe blush feeling Charlies arms turning him around. Charlie looks at Babe up and down being getting on his knees to kiss Babes stomach. "Charlie get up." Babe laugh trying to get out of Charlies grip. "The race is at 2,we need to be there at 12. So common" Charlie finally let's go of Babe before going to the shower. Babe grabs his phone and goes on his socials waiting for Charlie. Babe scrolls through Instagram seeing photos and video of himself then laughs as he reads the comments. He turns his phone off as he see that Charlie his ready. "Let's go now." Charlie mentions with a satisfied look on his face.

They head to the Track.

"Phi Alan!" Charlie yells as he gets out of the car while babe on the other hand his carrying so much weight he can barely stand up." Go get ready in your racing suits the race is gonna start soon. Charlie nods before running back to Babe grabbing his hand and running to the locker room. As they get changed Babe randomly adds... "It sucks how I can't use you to help concentrating before the race anymore" Babe looks at him with a smirk on his face. "Don't worry Mama. I will make sure to make it up to you after you have Baby." Charlie responds looking back at Babe. They are suddenly interrupted with North, "Hurry up y o u two love birds the race is about to start." North States then leaves. Charlie and Babe then hold hands as they walk out to the track with fans screaming in the crowd. They both get into their cars getting into their positions aswell as the other teams.

The race starts...

They all take off with Charlie in first followed by Way and Winner in tie, Babe overtakes them leaving him neck an neck with Charlie, Babe manages to look at Charlie for a second before speeding off. On their last lap Babe suddenly feels the baby start to kick. "Not now Baby." Babe thinks to himself not letting the distraction get in his way Charlie follows close behind Babe the passes Babe nearly at the finish line. Babe being the competitive person he his a exillarages with full forces passing Charlie at the finish line.
"AND THE WINNER IS, PITBABE!" the crowd goes wilds screaming at cheering.
Charlie parks the car in front of the garage waiting for Babe to come. "Good job, Charlie."Alan congratulates patting his back, "Well hes not as good as his boyfriend" North adds. "Hey. North." Alan is about to slap North's head butvthen is cut of but Babe who has came. "P'Babe!"
The team yell as they run up to Babe, they don't make it before Charlie who is already at Babes side. "Congrats on getting 1st on your last race!" Sonic cheers "ptff calm down Sonic, it's not my laaaast race." Babe rolls is eyes before looking at Charlie who is pouting. " Why couldn't you just let me win. Phii" Charlie teases him. "Ha. I not let anyone win." Babe laughs."Although... It was kind of hard to focus when this little bean woke up and started kicking me." Babe added putting his hand on his stomach." She just wanted to make it a challenge for her mama" Charlie joked before latching on to Babes arm "Hey you still don't know that it's a girl yet." Babe really wanted a boy while Charlie on the other hand wanted a girl. Alan laughs at Charlies response before commenting," Okay okay that's enough let's just all get change and we will celebrate after." Everyone agrees before walking off to get ready. "What time should we meet?." North asks before walking off. Alan turns around "Uhm I'm not sure maybe 6?" Babe interrupts "Me and Charlie have a appointment at 6 and it goes for a bit so is it okay to do 7?" Alan nodes then looks at North who's question has been answered. "Okay see you then!" North smiles being leaving, aswell as Charlie and Babe.

They get home and Change into comfortable clothes before leaving again.
The car ride to the doctors.
Charlie : So are you ready to find out Babies gender?
Babe : Yep just a bit nervous.
Charlie : It's okay baby.
Charlie replies before pulling Babes hand closer to him.
At the Doctors...
The wait in the waiting room to be called. "PitBabe." The doctor calls Charlie and Babe in. Babe lays on the bed as the doctor pulls out the ultrasound. "I'm just going to check the baby's vitals first." the doctor states before putting the cold gel on Babes stomach then moves the remote around. Charlie sits next to babe squeezing his hand admiring the ultrasound seeing their baby. "The babies are all healthy and safe." The doctor sighs in pleasure. It's takes a moment to hit Babe and Charlie, "Wait." Charlie looks confused "Did you say Babies as in more then 1?" Babe adds looking stunned. "Yes congratulations! You are having twins, a boy and a girl." Babes emotions get the better of him as tears start to swell up from over joy and happiness as well as Charlie. Charlie stands up and hugs Babe feeling over joyied.
After the appointment the two walk out of the room with bright smiles on their face.

"Oh yeah we have to go Alans." Babe mentions before jumping in the car as Charlie drives. Babe looks at the ultrasound that the doctor gave them."." Charlie. I love you but I know that once these two sunshines come into our lives your they are going to be my world. Charlie doesn't seem offended I fact he just looks at Babe remembering when he asked him if he wanted children and he wasn't sure. Now looking at him seeing the joy on his face now that they are having children of their own.

When the get to Alans house...

"Babe Charlie!" Alan greets them already seeing the others there. "Hello"Charlie waves then goes with Babe and sits down joining their conversation. "So how did the appointment go?" Jeff asked curiously, Babe and Charlie just look at each other before Charlie speaks. "Well. We are having twins. A boy and a girl." the others just stare for a moment before going absolutely crazy. "OMG NOW WAY!!" Way yells in excitement, Sonic and North just go up to the two and hug them to congratulate them. "So I'm gonna have a niece and nephew." Alan smiles happily also going up to babe to hug him and Charlie. Way suddenly goes on his phone then comments "There is so much cute twins clothes that are in my shopping cart now I finally have a reason to buy them." Everyone just laughs especially Babe who responds with, "Way there is still a few months and what if the size isn't right after all if they have Charlies head they might not fit." Babe then looks at Charlie who just looks like at cute puppy then pats him on the head then puts his head on Charlies shoulder. "I'll order it anyway." way replies looking back to his phone. "You do realise it's gonna be harder to handle Babe." Alan state's giving him a teasing smile. "Yup I'm aware so hopefully they are not too much because I already need to deal with one Baby here".
Babe then looks at Charlie. Jeff agrees as he has lived with him his whole life, "Well Congrats keep us updateed okay." Way mentions leaving at the same time as Charlie and Babe. "Okay byeee" Babe waves as he walks to the car.
As they drive home they both feel that their lives are gonna change in a good way once their lives are complete with the twins.
